Sh sh sound is sibilance. It is natural but some equipment highlight it more. But here these speakers are doing good job in this area, much better than b&w at least.

Everyone saying these speakers are bright? MA speakers have ridiculous resolution and can come across a bit bright if played through KZbin however with the right system matching and source they sound amazing.

changed my kef ls50 metas for these babies , am loving the finish on them , i always liked kefs but they cant hold a candle to these , they pair nice with my roksan attessa streaming amp as same company ... use svs 3000 micro sub just for small amount of base .... bluesound is good inside the roksan but thinking of Eversolo DMP-A8 Network Audio Streamer ? it looks really nice ............

Easy listening music is easy to play & sounds good on a lot of speakers. But try playing something that sounds harsh like Metallica, Alter Bridge, then it's a true test to tell if speakers sound good

I know the new Gold is very good from reading all the reviews, and some reviewers have said its 80/85% of the Platinum II, but I am yet to see a side by side listening comparison. Reviewers only compare to memory, which is unreliable. I'd love to see an actual side by side listening comparison

Well I can give you my opinion on both. I had the 300 generation 5 here at my home, and I was not prepared at how much better they were than the generation 4. It's not even fair to compare the two. The new generation 5 are absolutely amazing. But I bit the bullet and bought the Platinum 200 generation 2. And as good as the 300 generation 5 is, the Platinum is much better. On listening to them both now, I agree the new generation 5 gold it's about 80 to 85% of the Platinum. And what I'm planning to do, is upgrade the internal wiring to OCC single-crystal wire, which gave me about a 15% improvement when I did it to my gold 300 generation 4, so I'm expecting the same improvement when I do it to the platinum 200 ll.

@@lyispineda3340 they are the one of the most 3D sounding speakers I've ever heardthese Platinum drivers are unbelievable sounding the bass is so much faster tighter deeper more articulate. The speaker sound better than speakers costing four to five times the price.

Electronics in this video cost ~17000 euros (no typo here) while speakers ~1900 euros. Prices for new. So the blending result is perfect but not really realistic in terms of budget... Otherwise a perfect sounding bookself with this equipment and in this room. Perfect mic and recording too! Thank you!

Kanta nr1 blows this away. It's a whole other price range too... ( I don't own the Kanta nr1, but heard it at the dealer. Personally although I own the Kanta nr3's, the nr1's were VERY impressive. They sounded better and warmer compared to my old 826W's, and those were full towers, lol. The nr 1's made me purchase the nr.3's to be honest. I was so in love with the sound of those flax cones...

I have always hated bookshelf speakers I have always had large rooms and not at all into near field listening 👂 in smaller spaces,I have always wanted realistic sound levels and having that ability when I ask my electronics to perform them
