These things are awesome, just picked up a pair the other day. Played a track of a fella playing a base solo and it sounded like he was actually in front of me playing a base, they are just such a good speaker. \ Do you have you ports plugged?

Yes! But still Silver 8 sounds better to me. Silver 10 are quite new speakers and maybe need some playing time to sound better.

Keit Norden Is true that They sound different.I was in a demo room and a was listening Them side by side with Arcam A39 and CA 851N.Due to fact that I have a bigger room ,I vote for silver 10. S10 has advantage of more power,lower end capability.Simply saying the s8 fore Me sound more audiophile and the s10 sound more dramatic if You know what I mean.
