The comedic chemistry between these two is off the charts. 🤣 *Love* the way they play off each other. Monk and Sharona will always be one of my favourite duos on all of television.

Outside of that scene, i really liked their chemistry, how they could get along and how she encouraged him to go on with his investigations. She isn’t an ordinary nurse, she is a trusted friend who really provided some moral support to him. I really preferred Sharona for that reasons, she had her moments, but she was loyal and will prove it. I wish there were more characters like her nowadays.

I absolutely agree, especially with your final sentiment. I loved Sharona, in large part because of the degree to which she stood apart from the blueprint of many mainstream characters - particularly in the role of a caretaker. I, too, wish there were more characters like her in fiction.

This is definitely one of the show's most hilarious episodes! Just as funny is the final peptalk the marriage counselor gives them at the end (not included in this video.)

The actor playing the marriage counselor is so good. A lot of actors in the show join into the farcical undertone, but this actor really feels grounded & authentic in the person she is playing... seems like an irl person.
