Good try to get her back on Sumara's part!!! Some of you may not know it but a lot of the younger stronger monkeys are afraid of Tara and Possum so for Sumara to try like that, it was really brave of her. The kidnapper doesn't care if the baby gets hurt in a scuffle. They don't care if the baby falls out of the tree, they will just find a different one to take wher mom would be devastated. When the napper comes up to Sumara it always reminds me of the old lady on the subway in the movies who has had her purse taken too much. When the thief gangbanger bad guy come on to the subway she just hands him her purse after too many times. Poor old girl.

I have said many times that Tara doesn't care about Amara and would hurt her or kill her if it would serve her purpose - showing her dominance. So it is safer for Sumara to not try to fight to get Amara back because Tara will hurt or kill the baby because she doesn't care about her

Babies are taught at birth to say close/attached to an adult....mom, or an approved babysitter. They are tiny and very vulnerable. You hear them hooting and crying a lot once kidnapped so the mom can find them. She will often be very close by, waiting for the kidnapper to abandon it, then mom can grab it and run.

That's a first, I've never seen Sumara try to grab her baby back like that, directly from Tara's hands ... she tried to use the sneak attack and come from behind. That's about all she can do though, if she were to outright try to fight and take Amara back she would face the wrath of the troop, she's very low ranking. Not to mention the fact that most of those juveniles are viscous, and can, and will, kick any adults ass. Just look at what they have done to Carla, several times, and she is much bigger and younger than poor old Sumara ... I will say that that chubby friend of Tara's is much nicer to the babies, whenever she manages to get one away from Tara, and the babies have a better chance to get back to momma sooner with her.

Amara is getting to be quite the handful, her kidnapped days are coming to a close finally. My dad told me when I was young that if someone tried to rape me that I shouldn't fight because it was better to live. I said "what would you do Papa? Men get raped too." He said "ok, smart mouth what would you do?" I said "I would pee, crap, barf, fight, and scream & yell." He actually started laughing and said "guess that's one thing I will quit worrying so much about because if I was a rapist that would pretty much change my plans!" The more these babies fight the less they get kidnapped so maybe it is time for the moms to try fighting again, then again it seems wiser to wait it out too. Idk
