brandt gate decks also seem to always have those set orders, havent seen much of other nations utilizing set orders except the cat loronerol. and vice versa kinda want to see brandt gate deck without a set order lol

Yup, nice breakdown, and thanks for warning people about Touken Ranbu. Sad the sword boys aren't so good in Overdress. And Zorga certainly is not easy to pilot, I have came up with five different builds and I still can't decide which one of them are the right build for me! Rip Grief Despair and Rejection when the new Zorga card gets released.

Good video, more or less agree with a lot of this. I'm a Nirvana main who's recently fallen in love with Zorga as well and the way Nirvana's evolved over the course of the format has been pretty awesome. I'd actually say it was towards the simpler end at the beginning but it still definitely rewarded knowing your matchups. Now it's at a point where it can deal with basically anything but you REALLY gotta be on top of your shit (Prison is still the hardest but there are quirky little workarounds). Never played Dragons before D but Nirvana's definitely the most fun I've had with the game.

Short yet comprehensive overview! I have a few questions though. I'm actually town between making only one deck between Overlord (for nostalgia) and Bavsargra, with budget not being a concern. After DBT05 support (PBO, DOTE, MLB, etc), would you say that they're enough to push Dragonic Overlord up significantly? Or is it still on the bottom of the totem pole since it's still too slow? Similar question for Bavsargra actually. On whether the Festival Collection 2022 support would do it any favors. Due to how many things requiring the g3 Bavsargra's name, I'm not sure if they intend to release a new g3 or g4 anytime soon (like Orfist, Zorga, and the main cast boss cards).

I think the way they've developed the different decks with waves of support has been pretty interesting and fun. My BF mained Magnolia and Prison since the beginning without being able to buy some of the more expensive staples. They were pretty mid tier to weak deck in the beginning, but now they're some of the best decks. Makes me really excited for the future of Overdress.

Sadly here in Canada loronerol costs around $90 to build, at which point I might as well buy 4 Inlet pulse or trickmoon to complete the starter decks. Loronerol and Eknoa have become very expensive at $5-6 a copy, and other cards are around $1-2, so it's pricy. Also, Magnolia is a very expensive deck and not an average cost deck, with Enpix being a promo card.

Honestly I'm just so annoyed with how vanguard has been recently. There's over 30 new ridelines since this video and most of them never got the support they needed to function. The power creep is insane and so are the prices. The best beginner tutorial I can give is to go play a different game. Doing more vangaurd content isn't out of the question but it would depend on bushiroad fixing their game first.

@@MonkeyFightTCG while I dont disagree with a lot of the sentiments, especially the prices, I do think bushi is handling standard better than how they used to. Back in V era, some clans only got support once a year and itd be a whole new deck. I think I throughout the course of overdress, ride lines usually aren't great right when they come out, but ded get better usually over a set or 2.

I'm a vanguard zero player and I checked this video out looking for a deck similar to oracle think tank. I'm having a lot of trouble translating the overdress nations and archetypes to the clans and archetypes of the older version of the game, again thanks vanguard zero for cementing those deep in my head. For v premuim and premuim ezel is good. For the overdresss format you might like either bastion or the new theagrea deck.

I just wish there were semi competitive budget options in overdress... Every deck needs so many expensive staples to be playable and most Ride lines themselves are pretty expensive (outside of starter decks but those need the upgrades to be competitive) and don't even get me started on the special triggers etc..... Nice video though! Really helpful for beginners that don't mind a hefty price of entry c:

I'm from a Link Joker deck and I'm so confused on which deck I should get for overdress if I main Link Joker and how to boost that deck. May I also ask if I can still use my old gen link joker cards (From legion to Stride) for these new nations decks, which nation should I play if I want that playstyle?

No you can't. Vanguard split into 3 different formats. The old cards have been moved into a format called premium. If you're looking to get into the most recent and popular formats, standard. You could wait a month or so untill messiah gets rereleased into the game

Brandt gate is what became of link joker and all of the other similar clans. So the mechanics of a any of the decks should be somewhat familiar.

No, not without a lot of work. Most of the standard decks don't even have strides. However it would be possible to put standard cards into premuim decks. Premuim is not just the format with older cards it's also the format where cards from all 3 eras are legal. (I would check the banlist though)
