I love how in this episode Monk was the one to tell the gaslit Sharona she wasn't crazy after she did the same for him in Mr. Monk Goes to the Asylum.

Poor Sharona being gaslighted.😓😓😓 Also, it was very sweet of Stottlemeyer to try to comfort Monk when Trudy got brought up.😊❤

making stotlemeyer kinder to monk was all Ted 😊Levine's doing .he knew the relationship between monk & stotlemeyer would be complex since they used to work together. I would've loved to have seen flashbacks of them as a cop duo .

Your comment made me lookup who Bitty is. (Never knew Sharona’s actresses’ name) Interesting coincidence that her middle name is Natalie!

Monk has the terrifying abilty to sense any disharmony in his surroundings. How your handedness causes the tie to be lopsided ever so slightly, how the paint to touch up a wall is ever so slightly not quite the same mix as the original, and also every possible thing out of place at a crime scene. What makes him such a good detective is also a source of constant pain. That he can be effective in society at all is him constantly pushing himself past his own medical condition. A bit of a hero for me in my own anxiety condition.

most likely the killer would attack her with the element of surprise due to Sharonda’s sudden call. Although she could get away, I think it’s pretty likely the killer overpowers her and either a) knocks her unconscious or b) kills her. but that’s just my thinking though

This is the perfect definition of what gas lighting is of late I have seen too many people over use the term gaslighting without really understanding where that term came from it came mostly from a movie you see there was a play that came out in the 1930s in England but until it became a movie in the late 40s early 50s the word gaslighting had not entered the vocabulary till then till the movie, much in the way that the term Laura syndrome which does not is no longer in use it came out when the movie Laura came out back in the late 40s early 50s and it was used for almost 20 years until it died out it meant somebody who falls in love with a person's picture and the person is supposedly no longer alive.
