I used to sympathized to those who complained about temporary construction noise until a cross fit gym opened right next to my house. Been promised a load of acoustic changes sound/vibration proofing since 2012 and still waiting...

MON MODE yeah funny enough my area rep asked for me to be patient since they just opened up their business in 2012. Meanwhile, they actually opened at a previous location not very far from me back in 2008. He rather focus on cracking down on bikes that have been locked up for weeks as opposed to my issue. Anyways, thank you for your concern and I hope condo life has been easier for you of late.

Hi. Nice video... great information! I'll be moving to TO in 7 months, so I have to decide where to get an apt... I like downtown, but not noisy construction going on. Should I choose Trinity Bellwood or St. Lawrence Market area or more midtown, in your opinion? (I'm 45 year old single woman into cafes, record shops, museums and library life)

Jamie yes those areas are definitely a lot quieter and also have cuter shops, nice restaurants etc

How did you find your place?

Through a realtor! Check on condos.ca, there you can see whats available and you need a realtor to do the showings!

(yeah) Can you turn down that music? (yeah) It is illegal to start construction before 7:00 am. (yeah) I live in downtown but don't live in a condo so perhaps you should re-name your video.

Toronto is too damn expensive. There should be better REAL rent controls. You're living in a very expensive box. Forever waiting for an elevator...late for work and events...people have to demand larger units to be built and no taller than 30 floors

no.. mine is nice and quiet.. not unruly neighbors / no smelly circulating vents / no construction constantly. I don't know why people buy condos to be honest...maybe its a cool factor... I dunno... my opinion of course.
