Man, as soon as you mentioned seeing multiple X-Sabers, I knew you were setting up a red herring and running some wild, offbeat deck. Thanks again for the practice. These duels have honestly been some of my favorites in Edison, two janky decks trying to out-jank each other. I love the build you’re running and really appreciate the theory behind it, especially knowing it’s inspired by MTG. You should absolutely build this in paper and take it to a locals; I’d love to hear how it performs. I took the Rhynos deck to locals last weekend and managed to place second, only losing to Hero Frogs, so I feel like there’s definitely potential in the build.

Playing other games is great because it can help you can find that concepts that work in one game also apply to the other; and if you find that something doesn't translate well between games you get to figure out why it works well for one and not the other I've played some magic draft with some friends before and I can usually draft a pretty cohesive deck. There have been times where I draft what I see as a busted card, only for it to flop in actual play

i dont think i would cut dust shoot in rhynos matchup as thats one of the ways you can actually get rid of it as they tend to refill their hand w/ chainables and whynos himself

I feel liked a bigger monster is just better than whatever role Fulhemknight has in this deck. Imagine if you were playing Blizzard Dragon or something instead. You had to rely on traps because your monsters were weak and therefore couldn’t give you the advantage.

Fulhelm plays into ryko and defends des lacooda. It also ladders into the strongest monsters in the format (synchros)

I feel like fullhelmknight doesn't do anything. It's not really tempo. maybe just take a counter fairy list and swap some cards out for your draw engine. Also upstarts?

I kinda wanted to see a rescue cat airbellum engine but probably not worth it, I don't think you actually want to synchro off your draw engine. unless you add more cat targets

Fulhelm protects itself or des lacooda. It gives u a way to pressure rykos at +1 and synchro in the late game. Can make arcanite with breaker or masked. It's high value

@@ktktktktktktkt fullhelm is fine, its a pseudo dprison, negating one atk. What i dont really like is airbellum, because isnt really a pseudo draw, the opponent can play around it by setting all cards they have in hand. I think maybe a 3rd fullhelm instead of airbellum

Lol I'm disappointed. There isn't 4 copies of delver of secrets in your mono blue delver build... for shame! XD Fun fact I dabbled in magic on and off too throughout the years and I actually played standard when innistrad block was legal and delver of secrets came out. That being said it's one of my all time favorite magic cards next to liliana of the veil. Deck is cool. I agree that you should find room for drastic drop off. Van' Dalgyon would be fun too. But idk if there's room to fit him in here ironically.
