Bought M1570 used from Amazon with 2 years warranty for 350 euros. One ear channel stopped working after about 18 months. Send them back and got a full refund. I have thoroughly enjoyed them in that period with ifi stack and xbass +3d space ON. What a wonderfull sound with good enough stage and imaging. Comfort wise it was bad. Very heavy, paint was coming off the headband yokes when you were adjusting the headband. Pads were rotating by itself when puting when on and off. Had to adjust them pads regularly.
@josephshim2744 Жыл бұрын
Changing out the headband on these definitely helps with the weight distribution. Still heavy, but not nearly as bad. Also these go on sale often for around half the regular price. So if you are willing to headband swap & are patient these are a great deal!

Thanks for the review😀. First time to see this unit reviewed.... How would you rate them compared to other Monoliths (M1060 + M1060C).? I know its closed versus open but interested to know how would you rank all 3 as you have / had them all? Cheers, Tony
@MrAyrit2 жыл бұрын
I'd say this are next level to those. A bit more refined. That being said. I still think a used m1060 is a great value, and if you want something super punchy the m1060c opened is pretty nice.

These will never be a fashion statement if that’s what you’re looking for. More of headphone to find the comfy chair, plug them in and enjoy. I got the AKG 371’s with the mini XLR connection system and what I thought would be a good way to go was not that at all. WAY too much trouble lining up the plugs to the sockets, took too much pressure to plug/unplug the wires. I really felt like some kind of damage could occur. This may or not be a problem with the 1570’s but if it was me I would stay away from them for that reason. I don’t have these headphones. This is more of a report on the mini XLR connection system. I do have the 570’s which I like alot
@Steve03102 жыл бұрын
The M1570 are wired differently. They have the pin-out on their site. You either need to buy their cable or have a custom one made. Not cool at all! I have the M1070 and like them quite a bit. I also bought them new on sale for $229 from Monoprice themselves. I went with the M1070 over the M1570 because of the weight, sale price (I'm relatively thrifty lol), and the Cable ridiculousness. At the time Monoprice still hadn't released their Balanced Cable. Back then if you used an Audeze Cable (or aftermarket cable) it was putting Amps into protection Mode.

GOT MY M1570 4 DAYS AGO, THEY SOUND EXCELLENT, BUT THEY ARE HEAVY, AND THE HEADBAND IS OK, BUT IF THEY HAVE A HEADBAND FROM M1060, THESE HEADPHONES WOULD BE SO MUCH COMFORTABLE!!

The AKG 712 Pro with an LP G111 or Violectric HP Amp, is one of the best HP´s ever build on this planet and Endgame for many people outside the YT bubble. This is a non sponsored comment.😎
@jcap83912 жыл бұрын
You have to try more headphones if you think k712 is endgame. Amps aren't a big deal unless you want to get a tube amp to color the sound a bit. As long as it can power something efficiently their all the same. I remember I used to think my r70x and my 712 pro were amazing until I got my focal clear then my Arya. Miles apart. You just hit the tip of good nowhere near end game

Hi, I enjoyed your review. You seemed quite unsure on the headphones though. I’ve been considering purchasing these to upgrade from Beyerdynamic DT 990s? What do you think?
@MrAyrit2 жыл бұрын
It is a pretty different sound than the 990. Warmer, smoother. I’d say the 1570s sound better, but they definitely don’t even come close in matching the comfort of the 990.
@Doors42992 жыл бұрын
@@MrAyrit I do enjoy a smoother sound for sure. The 990s were bought on a whim so… I’ll have a read around and see what other people say. I’ve seen people using the Audeze headbands as you stated in the video which might improve the comfort.

@@MrAyrit I'm looking at the M1570 for an upgrade to my Fostex T50's, I really enjoy the bass of my T50's. I don't tend to spend hours listening so I'm thinking I'd probably be ok with the weight. I also have the sennheiser 560S which does seem to resolve better / offer more detail in the mids and beyond. So I guess I'm looking for some cans with a strong bass punch with the resolution of the 560S, would the M1570 do the job or should I look at some other option ?

would u say they're similar to pre fazor lcd 2? or fazor for that matter
@MrAyrit2 жыл бұрын
Mmmm, i don’t they’re quite as interesting as those, definitely not the prefazor. They’re solid sound, nothing that strays too far from the norm. I remember the LCD2 fazor being more detailed and more neutral. The prefazor was just euphoric and interesting. I would take these iver the classic though, for sure.
