Finaly got my replacement the first one i got was broken from the start. But XZOrloo sent me a replacement for free. THe DAC works now and the sound really like 3-4 times better when you use an earphone or a headset or even a speaker. really recommended the Zorloo. Btw this is the first DAC that actually not a SCAMM on kickstarter. Backed several DAC but this is the one that actually delivers. If you use computer tried installing BOOM 3D and combine with Zorloo makes a worldly difference

Tomorrow I'm finally getting my topping d10 to pair with jds atom with my M565, I plan very soon to upgrade to the monolith m570 cans,, at some point I'll go for a full balanced setup then I'll post video review
@JilesMcCoy5 жыл бұрын
That is going to be VERY cool. I'd like to do a full balanced system one of these days too. But for now this is treating me well. The m570 headphones are impressive. The little DAC does good work too... and I can carry it with me when I travel!

@@JilesMcCoy JDM World JDM World when I get to point of my balanced setup I'm going to use this 2 channel peavey balanced eq between the dac and the amp as I just hate pc based eq software, never really cuts it plus I can have the xlr eq mounted above my computer screen so I can adjust on the fly as my right ear isn't as good as my left, but more importantly right now how do you like the m570 do you think the atom will drive them well enough or would suggest that I get the shiict magni 3 heresy version mangi, as it puts out 2.4w at 32ohms, just to know I'd already planned to get that but if something more is required or is better let me know, oh and hey could you give artist solar fields a listen, tracks ( savant, and the shard) off album mirrors edge catalyst I'd like to know what you think of the m570 bass handling of those tracks and similar ambiant music, specifically how tightly they reproduce the bass detail on whether it remains sharp and detailed or gets muddy an whether or not more power helps. Thanks an I look forward to the next video

I skipped a couple of steps, last year I got the Dragonfly Red and the Massdrop Sennieser HD58X Jubilee’s, the Jubilees could use more power, but still sounds pretty darn good, it’s better suited for IEM’s really, I’m thinking about getting a Dark Voice tube amp to better drive the HD58X’s 150ohm impedance, thanks for the video!

I would have expected that the zorloo may have correctly amplify and drive the M570 cans.

Is it not double amping running from the Ztella to the Spark? Can the iPhone put out line level through the Ztella? Reason I asked is I'm thinking of this for a PC to amp to enjoy tidal MQA outside of listening from my phone.
@JilesMcCoy5 жыл бұрын
There is enough juice from the Ztella to power headphones. When I travel I use my iPhone, the Ztella, and a set of Carbon IEMs from Periodic Audio.
@JilesMcCoy5 жыл бұрын
You can pluf the Ztella into a PC and then to an amp no problem.

Hello, I am quite new to dis and am trying to up my game a bit from Bluetooth earbuds and recently bought some grado sr80e. Now I am wondering if it is useful for me to buy a ztella if I keep using iTunes or do I first need to change to a service like tidel or Roon before a dac has any use?
@JilesMcCoy3 жыл бұрын
The external DAC needs to be better than the internal on whatever you are using. What are you using now?
@MultiBjorn213 жыл бұрын
for now I am juist using my trusty jabra wireless buds. So whatever I do I will improve. I was wondering if I use iTunes has high enough quality audio files to rectify buying an ztella.

I strongly disagree about the need for a higher end DAP. There is more to a dap than just the dac chip. I have the sp1000 and the amplification section is outstanding as is the user interface. Imo the sp1000 sounds better than an external dingle dac by an extreme margain. This is also dependent on the iems or headphones that you are using. If they don't have the resolving power then the difference will be difficult to hear.

What is the difference between “with” and “without “ the liquid spark in the chain and makes it necessity?
@JilesMcCoy5 жыл бұрын
It will depend on the headphones. Some headphones need an amp. Thew amp just amplifies the signal.
@vicentcarro5 жыл бұрын
JDM World ok, do you mean if I satisfied with the sound and volume with my DAC alone (cheap Sony 7506), I can do it without extra amplifier?thank
@JilesMcCoy5 жыл бұрын
Vincent Ryu If you are happy with the sound there isn’t a need for upgrades unless you want them.

Oh no.. Those are not audiophile RCA cables.
@JilesMcCoy5 жыл бұрын
NewYorkBlack Heh, they are equal in sound transmission quality as any other cable at whatever price you want to pay :)
@klewja5 жыл бұрын
@@JilesMcCoy I was a non believer in cables before I got my abyss AB1266. There is a marked difference between the stock cable and aftermarket cables. I actually think that the stock cable offered a better sound signature than the transparent ultra headphone cable. The trans parent is more than double the price at about $1,800.
