Monroe load leveler shocks installed

Thanks for posting, those spring shocks were kicking my butt trying to install them on my TB. Everytime I jacked them up the shock would run away from the mount. I finally gave up because it was getting too dark.ii would have never thought of jacking it up on the control arm. Definitely going to give it a shot tomorrow.

Ok i got and installed these just cause of ur video ! Hooooppee am not disappointed.. the look is awwwwsome! Not too hotrod.. and rear no longer rubs on my tire 285 40 22..

What worked better for me on my 98 Silverado, since I didn't have all the Jack's was to use a ratchet straps and compress the whole shock to about the length of the old shock and then I hooked up to my travel trailer and raised the back end of the truck a little with the Jack but still keeping the tires on the ground. Then once the new shocks were attached on top I made minor adjustments and then hooked up the lower bolt, released the strap and all was good.

Good video. I too, have about 2 inches or rear sag with weights distribution hitch installed. I may have to try these coilovers . Try replacing bump stops with Timbrens or Supersprings brand..They are bigger, taller and beefier all around.

They are a good shock. Put them on my 2016 grand caravan. However they squeak.. Have to spray them on a regular basis.. Hate that squeaking...Use silicone spray

If WDH is set up correctly, you should be able to remove the back wheels and the truck will be supported by the tension of the hitch, sounds like the hitch adjustment needed fine tuned. Your rotors rusted because some wheel cleaners are a mild acid, that will cause immediate rust. Decent video, I'll probably be adding these to my 99 Tahoe soon as I will be hauling a couple hundred pounds of tools in the back on a regular basis, the factory leaves are pretty soft, it likes to squat.

Same here. 99 Tahoe with 58,000 original miles just to soft and bouncy for towing..although I do like other things soft and bouncy, lol

Looking to put on my 2016 GMC Sierra 4x4 to tow an Airstream travel trailer. My current issue is “squish” when on the interstate, mostly transitioning from a bridge to/from the interstate. Anyway, do these help dampen the “squished” ride feel?

They did help me with my Jayco x23b probably lighter than your Airstream but yes it did help me a lot plus I have the weight distribution and helped me immensely again I had an ultra light I was trying to find the same ones for my Silverado 2500 but they don't seem to have it they might have it for 1500 GMC Sierra

Is the monroe load adjusting shock you installed upside down? Or is the shock right-side up?

Have you seen the Gray coupler facing upwards does the correct way of installing it and when I 1st got them I was trying to figure it out so I called the company That's the correct way

How they holding up? Have a tb wanted to put these on but the hotrod look? And also i have 22in rims with 305 40 22 on back so ?? What u think..... reason being i have alot on weight at back. 15in sub amonst other things.

Well this was September 17th 2017 if I'm not mistaken they're holding up really well I said hot rod affect it was because it kind of looked as if the rear end was slightly higher but it's not know they do take a beating and it's smooth man so I'm satisfied I am for your application I don't know if you putting weight down on your rear end but it serves its purpose I used to tow a camper with this set of shocks and had no problems even when you're riding with out toeing it's wonderful no keeping in mind this is for my application and it satisfies my needs hope this info was helpful thanks for watching please subscribe

Saul Luciano I got these straight from Amazon but you can check on Google and find out the proper size actually Amazon will let you know if it fits your vehicle I told a 6000 pound camper with a Chevy Trailblazer actually the vehicle you see on the video and it did well

Saul Luciano for me it was an easy install pretty much. Jack helped me a lot make sure you connect the top first then gently with a small piece of wood block on the jacket and lift up slowly until you get it right censored put the ball through and call it a day good luck

Please please answer. Does dta compare to Detroit axle? And how has it been ? Ride quality.. also i dont tow anything but i wanna get the ones you have . I have 22inch rims and alot of music in back?? Hellllpppp bro

@@kingnasty5381 I like to say they lasted me like a year but I hear a noise in the right shock is gone in the left started to go so for that one year they were okay but I should have gone with the Monroe coilovers and I would have still been good like the Monroe load-leveling shocks I have in the rear with the with the spring those are great I haven't had any issues whatsoever I've pulled my 7600 pound camper with no problem

Adam Bleech they're actually not that high once the vehicle is completely on the ground upon doing this video I can't remember if I had one side up and one side down or if I release the vehicle down I apologize for No follow-ups but they do hold up very nicely and did well Towing my 31.5 foot camper I'm impressed

If you're asking once I attach my camper did it level out yes it did pretty nice too again I always use my weight distribution by husky to make sure I remain that way also my sway control arm but yes the shocks are smooth till this day

Oh okay no I left the rear up because this way when my trailer pushes me down I leveled out I did not get a leveling kit for my Trailblazer being as I do tow a trailer I don't mind the rear end being up Factory spec wise
