This tempo is how they played it live. When they went into the studio the producer had them play it as slow as humanly possible and then as fast. the one we hear on leisure is somewhere in between, however it is still way faster than the version we hear here and the version you would have heard blur play in the early days. personally, i do like this original a bit better

I put the video to 2x speed and now I'm imagining that's what it sounded like when they were told to play it as fast humanly possible. I wish they released another demo that was them playing it quickly. I'm so bummed they only released the one demo.
