MONSTA X | 'Trespass' & 'ALL IN' MV's REACTION | Why have I never watched these?

If I remember correctly with All In Minhyuk and Hyungwon were a couple and Hyungwon's father did not approve and was abusive. To get revenge Minhyuk burnt down his home. Minhyuk also pours that blue liquid to try and revive Hyungwon as you can see his hand moving once the liquid is put in. The Shownu situation was that his father was ill and needed surgery and he was unable to pay for it. Jooheon and Shownu decide to do a robbery to get money. However, they are too late and his father dies hence him burning the money. The flowers are called Blue Delphinium and have healing properties.

I just wanna say... Monsta X is always ahead of the time. And "All inn" MV is the best proof of it.

I'm not very good at explaining things, but I'll try to explain All In MV. Although, nobody completly understands the MV (even Monsta X don't know what everything means). Firstly, it's the begining of The Clan trilogy: Part 1: Lost ("All In") Part 2: Guilty ("Fighter") Part 2.5: Beautiful ("Beautiful") If you take first letter from each word and T from Trilogy you get LGBT. And this MV considers some important themes such as suicide, homophobia and LGBT. Also, it was released on May 17 which isInternational day against homophobia. The MV also about being lost and hurt. So, there are three "plots" in the MV - Minhyuk and Hyungwon, Shownu and Kihyun. The theory is that Minhyuk and Hyungwon are a pair ir just close friends, but Hyungwon's father (the man who slapped him) doesn't accept their relationship or just doesn't like Hyungwon's frienda and is abusing him. Minhyuk finds out and decides to burn Hyungwon's father's house (and him) and for that he asks help from X clan (I'll explain that later). But, while he is doing that Hyungwon drowns himself in the bathtub. Minhyuk finds him and pours the potion from blue flowers in the bathtub to revive Hyungwon or die with him (I'm not sure about this). Shownu's story is that his parent or someone important to him is very sick, but he has no money for operation. So he asks X clan for help. Jooheon gives him weapons and helps him rob the bank, but when he gets back the person has already died, so he burns the money and takes the blue flower potion (to protect or kill himself???). Kihyun is cripled, he's limping and can't walk wothout crutches. So, he somehow gets the potion and drinks it and now he can walk. As for Jooheon, Wonho and I.M, they are in the X clan. Jooheon is the leader and he helps Shownu. Wonho and I.M help Minhyuk. They live ina dystopian times, in a village that's under oppression (and Hyungwon's father is one of the officials involved in this oppression). They're trying to fight against the oppression, but they can't so they decided to run away from it (and from reality). That cult scene was in my opinion initiation ritual for new members of the X clan. And now the ending scene (the most confusing part of the MV). I believe it symbolizes new begining and them escaping the war. So here it is. I tried my best to write my theory. It's based on what I read from comments on the video and different websites. If you remember Beautiful MV they are all traped in rooms (they feel lost and guilty) and Jooheon helps them escape, he helps them face what's bothering them (each member has to do something to escape from the room).

Bruh I've been into monsta x for years but no matter how many times I read up on the All In MV storyline I forget it lol. But all I know is minhyuk and hyungwon are gay for each other and were a couple, and this mv was released on the International Day Against Homophobia. we stan.

MX had an album trilogy called "the Clan", the name of each album was: The Clan Pt. 1 Lost, The Clan Pt. 2 Guilty and the last (full album) was called Beautiful (the Clan Part 2.5: The Final Chapter) If you take all 3 first letters of each individual album name: Lost, Guilty, Beautiful (the last chapter...) it gives you LGBT (or many also refer to the T as 'trilogy', i.e. the LGBTrilogy =)

I think in the 'All In' MV, Minhyuk and Hyungwon act as a couple... First that man (maybe Minhyuk's father) hit Hyungwon and he hid his beaten face, but Minhyuk found out and decided to burn down the man's house (or maybe it's a church because you see a cross) as revenge. They're all such babies in Trespass! It's adorable. I.M was 18, Shownu was 21. And yeah, Wonho being Wonho from the jump. It's almost endearing somehow. 'All In' was part of the Clan storyline, which was all about their characters' stories and how they used the blue plant stuff to keep them alive, boost capabilities, etc. There are several MVs where the blue flower is prevalent, but honestly, I never really dug into all that lore, and then it switched to the time traveling later. Apparently they're linked stories there, too, but yeah. Glad to see you and more MX reactions!

All in mv, Minhyuk and Hyungwon are couple and they got trouble. This place like a region that affects people and our boys trying to escape from there thanks to the blue flower because this flower can heal and it allows you to see the real world. And part 2 is Fighter, Minhyuk and Hyungwon are being locked up here and others trying to save them with blue flower again.

ok so I'll try to explain a bit about All In, if I'm missing something or get something wrong feel free to add or correct me y'all! we have different storylines in a group of friends ("the clan"), as they try to help people and resist the abuse of the police/authorities (we can see civilians are being mistreated and threatened). these friends are all connected by the blue flower (which is recurrent in old monsta x's mvs such as beautiful). It is safe to say that the blue flower has curative/magical properties. Hyungwon: has an abusive father (theories say he's a religious figure because of the cross on the building), and has a very strong bond with Minhyuk (maybe that's the reason why his father beats him up). Minhyuk: he's the one who seeks revenge for how Hyungwon's being treated. Him, Changkyun and Wonho go to Hyungwon's father religious headquarter and set it on fire. When Minhyuk goes back to Hyungwon, he finds him in the bathtub, he probably coudn't bear the situation anymore and killed himself. Minhyuk then proceeds to pour the blue flower extract in the water and lays down with him, waiting for him to come back to life. At the end we can see Hyungwon tightening his grip around Minhyuk's hand. Shownu: he has someone he deeply cares about that's very sick (he's by his side at the hospital), money could help save this person, so Jooheon provides him with a gun. They then go and rob a bank (I'm not sure it really is a bank), in order to have the money to cure that person. We later see how Shownu is too late, when he reaches the hospital the bed is empty, that special person is already gone. He doesn't need the money anymore so he burns it. To ease his own pain, he drinks the blue flower extract. Kihyun: is shown very little, but from what we can see he's struggling with a physical injury/illness (we can see him trying to run towards the end of the video, practically dragging his own body along the way and throwing away a pair of crutches), that's why he resorts to using the blue flower extract as well. In this video Monsta X try to explain the MV: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4WUd2Wei7GpncU truth being told, as it always happens with every other MV, they probably filmed it without being told the whole story, so they're not that useful, but it's still funny to watch lol

Autumnrain and Manuela Kurtain gave some great info on understanding All In, especially if you’re watching the MV out of order. I too watched it out of order, but intially got into the video’s storyline before reading the lyrics. They don’t match up but the video storyline is such an interesting mini-film about a dystopian type place and how the boys grow up in it and what they deal with. I m in all white as a kind of idealized version of themselves trying to escape their hard lives together.
