1:05 is definitely possible but not gonna bother with it for now

One grudge I've always held toward Chinese translation is they present the intent hidden rather than leaving the player guessing. In English it's much more subtle. In Chinese "no cost too great" becomes "No matter what cost, leave no room for mercy."

Yeah. Seems like all translations are kinda funky, since I play in spanish and while the dialogue is mostly accurate and sounds nice sometimes ive seen incorrect capitslization (for example with Grimmchild charm it doesnt capitalize Grimm, which is a name and should have a capital G) or something like in Quick Slash charm, which says something about imperfect nails that still "long to be wielded", as in they want to be used, but in spanish they use the word for long as in measurement: "they are still way too long to be wielded"

Played Hollow Knight in Russian translation. It is mostly very good, but, they perhaps cared more for text to apear beautiful and epic, than for actual information. So, they mistranslated the kingdom's egdge's lore tablet, making to search for mister mushroom in places, where he never was.

@@christytrisshoffner9697 it's called true ending because it's literally the true ending, by killing the radiance you also kill the infection, meaning that it's the true ending of everything, if you take the radiance to you the infection will never end and you will break at some point as you dont have the void heart, it's called the true ending because it's the true ending for the radiance and the infection

If you go up the shaft that has a lot of mushrooms in the background, you will eventually reach a room at the top that has a stag station in the upper left corner.

​@@monkeu2536 I know you're replying to this comment talking about the fight in general, with all the tools in the game available to you, but the TE Radiance fight is actually extremely difficult. Shade soul is obviously much harder than shriek to use against the Radiance, and only having five masks so a leeway of two hits really doesn't help. On top of that, you need to go fast with the pressure of losing an hour of progress if you die. What's in this video is still incredible

Im honestly very glad that its in a language i'm not familiar with because than the dialogue is still new to me and interesting. Ive already gotten this ending, but i haven't gotten the pantheon ending. Although I have seen them do a play-through of all of the pantheons I am still new to the dialogue and can still experience it for myself one day.

I might be in the minority, but I really don't love patch 1.2.2.1 runs. I think Team Cherry made some stupid decisions in intentionally removing skips in unnatural ways (like preventing you from hopping over to the Blue Lake early on your spirit), but I'd much rather see innovation in a game like HK than these constant grinds through old patches... Still, an incredible performance from Mon as always.

The dream warriors use HP scaling: they get more tough as your nail improves. If you use an old nail they're very low on HP and shade souls with shaman stone do a ton of damage.

How do you use the crystal heart so precisely? Everytime I do, I have a high chance of ending up in a auto-move bug, that makes the character walk in the opposite direction, as the dash ends. Making it impossible to use, more often than not.

Wait, what? I don't understand what you mean. Maybe it's something wrong with your computer?

It's simple: if I tap a direction key (left or right), immediately followed by tapping the crystal dash key (shift, in my case), it results in a auto-move bug. If I press the opposite direction key when that happens, he just stops moving, but if I let it go, he starts walking again (even though I'm not pushing any buttons). If I push the same direction key, in which the knight is moving, then the bug ends. So if I'm doing a vertical dash (by sticking to a wall), I have to point one of the direction keys to attach to the wall in question, then initiate the dash. But when I connect with the wall on the other end, as in when the dash ends, the knight will just auto-move away from the wall, in the direction I just came from. Pushing the opposite direction keys just makes him stop and fall down, and I can't really do anything then. Annoying, if you're above spikes, and such. So essentially, to increase the chance of not having that bug, I need to use the direction key to attach to the wall, let go of the direction key, and THEN press the crystal dash key. But by doing that the knight will just start to slide down the wall. And at that point the crystal dash key doesn't seem to work very well (read: it doesn't do anything most of the time). It seems like I have a very limited window of opportunity to initiate the crystal dash. Same goes with when I drop down from a ledge, by trying to attach myself to the wall below, same thing happens. Maybe it's my keyboard - standard logitech one. Or a combination of keys, that cause problems. Have already re-arranged some of the keys, as I'm not using the default ones, but the same thing still happens.

The crystal dash can sometimes not work if you try it on a very small wall, which is probably done to prevent some acid pool skip, but that doesn't stop speedrunners from getting that skip consistently for both fog canyon and queen's gardens. I'm not sure how to help you, I've never heard of something like your problem before, but I'm also somewhat new to this game.
