Hey one of my go to places to go crabbing but I hate this dang pipes 😂 I know it well.

😆 The pipes are a catch 22, pain to get around but allows the line to slide nicely when pulling the traps in. Thanks for watching!

Had it forever. I Google'd "crab pot with bucket" and a few different kinds came up. Thanks for watching!

Why are spicy things like old bay a necessity for everyone who makes crab? I hate spicy stuff.

Hi Julie, thanks for watching. As with any cooking, flavoring is up to personal preference. I have prepared blue crabs with only vinegar and garlic powder several times in the past and they still taste wonderful. I will show this in an upcoming video. Thanks again for the comment. Have a great day!

What’s the water temp you are crabbing in?
@CarolinaOutdoorsman7 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. The water temp in the harbor a few miles away was 56 degrees on Feb 28. This area is a tidal stream and it's only 3-4 deep at low tide, 8-10 feet at high tide. I think it was probably a little warmer, probably around 60.
