I’m surprised they made the pink stripes so vibrant and metallic. I wish they stuck with the concept of keeping it pastel, since that’s what Rochelle has always had for her color schemes. Also we were robbed of the GLOVES 😭 She’s pretty though, but not for that price :(

the fact that they're charging $90 for a single doll that not only is tacky as hell (and all of the designs in the polls were pretty tacky imo), but they took out and changed stuff that we voted for. they made the stripes metallic (it was just pastel pink in the art), got rid of her gloves, AND changed the colorway of her shoes. if you're going to give ppl the option to vote MAKE SURE YOURE ABLE TO PRODUCE THE STUFF WE'RE VOTING FOR!!!!! there's literally no excuse for these changes. i bought the membership bc I've never rlly gotten the chance to buy a collector doll from mattel creations but they keep flopping bruh 😭😭😭

her color scheme is too vibrant imo, if the blue sheer fabric was gray it would clash less. then the blue accents in her hair and accessories would be fine. i just think there’s too much blue and the pink is too vibrant and it all kinda clashes to me. plus, why give her those cool shoes just to cover them with a long gown?? and the price point baffles me. she’s gorgeous but not enough to justify that price point. and she doesn’t even have those gloves in the concept art. i’m gonna have to pass even though i wanted to like her 😭

I live in Brazil and dolls here are really expensive (like the g3 basics are like R$340,00 where I live) and when I heard that Rochelle was gonna get a collector doll I was so happy and excited because she is my favorite character from all Monster High, and she was gonna be my first collector doll (and this was really meaningful to me), and then I worked hard and saved money for this doll and I was expecting like at least 70 dolars but now like 90,00 DOLARS?! (converting to the money here that's reais is REALLY expensive) I'm so sad that I can't get her beacause I really love her and thinks she's beautiful.. Yeah, so I love your videos Lizzie! Call me dramatic or over analysing but I’ll be honest then listing the club exclusive ghoulia for only 60$ but then lost the non exclusive Rochelle for 90$ is really scummy like they just went “oh you want accruatly priced dolls?? Pay for our club that gives you no benfits other then pretty exclusive dolls” Also even if her box is pretty it won’t excuse the price, it applies to the RH collector dolls and this doll too

I can't imagine paying that much for her. I love Rochelle so much but I could only see myself getting her secondhand OOB so I can fix her. Better hairstyle, shorter dress to show the shoes, maybe just a whole new dress. I'm not an in box collector so the fancy display boxes theyre trying so hard to do on the "collector" dolls mean nothing to me and do not make the price point even a little worth it

I’m kinda disappointed with this doll especially with the price. I wish they kept with the pastel color palette, she just looks too bright. Idk I feel like the concept art looks better than the execution. $90 plus whatever tax and shipping is really turning me off if I really wanted to consider buying her. I'd argue the dress isn't even well made or high quality for the price. The fabric they used is very obviously tulle and what appears to be satin ribbon, which is extremely cheap to purchase from virtually any fabric shop for dirt cheap. Like why not something like chiffon? Charmeuse? Some embroidery or beading? For the price I'd expect a hell of a lot more details.

She’s got nice details but $90 isn’t worth it, you could find better dolls to put that money toward and I don’t understand why they’d make her more expensive yet ghoulia needed the membership and cost less

I totally agree with you on everything. Rochelle is my favorite character and I was planning to purchase this doll, contrary to all other collectors that I didn't buy. But she's so expensive, and she could have looked much better, with more gray tones and a shorter dress primarily. I don't like her headpiece, nor the earrings, it looks like she has cat ears and mickey ears combined. Her hair also isn't as wavy as it was in the sketches, here it looks kind of awkward. I adore the makeup though!

Sooooo in my own personal opinion: I think this doll is absolutely stunning even though I voted against all the options chosen lol 😆 I was really expecting a $75 price point NOT $90 that's absolutely absurd. I agree that she should have a more black and white color scheme and I really do miss the gloves. The dress probably could have benefited from being a bit shorter, perhaps stopping along the line of that plastic iron corset so we can all see and appreciate those fangtastic shoes even when she's kept in box. I don't understand why the pink stripes look like they're peeling off the dress either 😅 I'm assuming her packaging has to be very elaborate for the $90 price point but I guess that still remains to be seen.

Like, I get that we voted for her stuff, and she's under the fang vote label, but that can only drive up the price so much before it becomes pure greed. yeh before today i was plannin to get her and even postpone my dentist apointment bc she suppose to come out april14 at same time as my dentist but now knowin the price.. i know now that for me bc ive membership i could get her april 13. but 135cad plus 13cad shipping plus 11cad fees shes gonna be 150cad. 135cad is the same price as a 2 pack from mattel creations like frankenstein and his bride two pack..and this is just one doll lol also shes more than the haute couture drac cleo etc. i was readin the comments and seems like a lot of people arent happy about her price and i bet a lot of people arent gettin her bc of that etc but at same time people say that and then they get the doll bc fear of missin out etc

I’m disappointed in the Rochelle doll. First, there’s no gloves despite the final design had gloves. Second, the colors are too much. Silver, black, and white would’ve made the dress stand out more with hints of pastels. Third, why have the boots when they’re covered by the dress? Finally, the metallic pink is flaking off the dress. Like is it suppose to look like that??? For $90+ I expected a lot more
