Man I loved Monster House from when I was a kid. And seeing that the movie got the appreciation from somebody's game, makes me feel like I'm at home. We had this place called "Hollywood Movies" in my area, basically a rent/buy place, and next to it they did the same for games. I'm pretty sure I got it from there. I used to think that the car part that Chowder at the end fell next to was a leg cause at the time, kid imagination/ps2 frames made it look convincing

I love this Movie. Monster House was my first every scary Movie and it was scary for me as a kid. This game looks alright and the bosses look fine. Although even if the chase scene with the house was cool, it also was kinda lame because it last to long with very little action for you to do. Also the Broken up house at the end reminds me of a Pokémon called Stallen ( sorry if I spelled it wrong ).

I have to honestly say, some old movie games didn't do well when it comes to adaptations back then, but I think this is actually a great exception because while they did of course rewrite some stuff in the end to where we don't see nebbercracker or his interaction with the kids while running from the house and other minor plot things, we do see more of his house and it's aesthetics, rooms, inanimate objects being possessed, attacking protagonists, serving as enemies and bosses etc. so in a way, this game is kind of an expansion of the movie itself which, even though we know how it ends, is still a new experience from the perspective of the inside! This was a really cool game to do that!
