What I've gathered from some of your weapon videos is that Earth Style sucks And you're stuck with it until HR 5 or HR 6

So hr 6-7 gets really painfully difficult there are some ways around it like using legendary rastas and halk pots but once you get through the game is definitely better.

It really is. Going through hr with it is breeze and is relevant in g rank despite magnetspike and tonfas. I am strugling with on ravi though

Man, Earth Style Lance feels real weird. I'm so used to having a counter available that it feels strange not having one. No guard advance as well until Storm Style. It just feels so naked compared to 3rd gen onward.

So this video is how I just found out that all the thought's of "it would be cool if gunlance could ..." i had while playing World and Rise, were already in this game. Specifically the elemental GL,the extreme wyvern fire and the thermal blade . I really hope these come back for Wilds.

I have seen some of these changes, implemented in Rise & world. Hopefully in wilds they bring back more things like the Parry during the dash attack, the back hop thrust, and charge the finisher. And I love the chargeable sweep attack from rise so hopefully that’s in wilds too

So the earth is the classic MHTri move set.

Basically, but the morph attacks are more lenient and the Elemental Discharge is faster. In classic Tri you could only morph from Axe after the overhead swing, and in P3rd and 3U you could only do it after the forward thrust. Frontier lets you morph after basically every move.

Thank you for making this! It is very clear! If you have the monster stunned and don't have access to extreme charge 5 yet, should I be doing charge 4 attacks, basic attacks, or circle charge attack into basic attack? Also is opening with the circle bash better DPS than the basic attack, or should I skip it whenever possible?

Wow these are some neat new attacks for the Gunlance. I am a Main of the Gunlance while playing MH4U and Rise, I know that's a different game but some of the neat new moves would have really helped it in G Rank for MH4U
