What are your thoughts on Monster Hunter Outlanders? Remember, a lot of this is from a source that we can't 100% confirm, so take it with a grain of salt! List of all monsters we know of in Outlanders, so far (whether shown directly or their equipment): - Rathalos - Rathian - Anjanath - Great Jagras - Jyuratodus - Legiana - Odogaron - Pukei-Pukei - Kulu Ya-Ku - Tobi Kadachi - Teostra - Barroth - Lunastra - Nergigante - Diablos - Paolumu

There's also a Lunastra "Ruin" dual blades, which tells that Nergigante and Lunastra might also be on the game. Edit: also, there's what looks like a revisited Barroth armor and regular Paolumu.

are we sure it's a gacha? the character are a bit too much normal. The companions have abilities and they can change their design a lot, but the hunters looks a bit boring. then if i try to have a character then advancing in the game can it remain in the squad or it need to be changed to get a more powerfull one? in some terms i hope it's like Genshin and in other i hope not. but they need to make money in some way, but the characters are not very amusing to get people to spend on it.

the point of mobile games is easy in gathering audience, but the reason capcom was not in it for the whole process and letting mobile gaming companies take over. Is just because they have their "うしくじった" moment for Monster Hunter Explore. Maybe there isnt enough revenue, or sponsors doesnt see the it.

I have a feeling that it will be like in Hoyo games(genshin, zzz, starrail) - Your main character will have a fixed weapon(in example LS) and if you want to play another weapon you will have to get it with gacha pulls(with different character), because your character can use ONLY 1 weapon type

Is it weird that I'm actually looking forward for this game's release? I don't have a playstation and my pc is too weak to even run the demo of Monster Hunter Rise. If its gacha isn't too greedy I could easily find myself enjoying this game without spending a single cent like I already have with a bunch of other gacha games.

@ I missed games like monster hunter explorer and the other mobile game besides now (which is mid af) I would love if they add baby monsters to the gatcha system. Imagine having a baby RATHLOS the size of a palico

I'm going to play but confused what the gacha could be? Armor unlocks? Usable items? Monsters lol? Guess we'll see

as of right now, it's supposedly just Buddies and NPC support hunters. Although, if it makes good money, I personally wouldn't be shocked to see weapons or armors at some point

Gacha games are loot boxes. You guys do what you want, but I burned myself once on a gacha game, and I will not play one ever again, no matter what "skin" it uses (MH, dragon ball, etc). The aim of these games is to lure a client with the "free aspect" of it, nice trailers or fun little gameplay, but the real aim is to extract as much money as possible with FOMO and other sunk cost fallacy effects.
