Yes yes comment section, the fight is easy but only because veterans of the series know what the game was like before the QOL changes. Those changes made this game easy only to those who aren't new to the series. Everyone else will probably need this guide.

How do you capture it??

@@PRINCEVEGETA777_TCG You'll need some traps (shock or pitfall) and tranquilizer bombs. You attack the monster until it is weakened enough (you notice this since it will start to limp) eventually it should even run away and try to sleep to regenerate health (this is the best time for a capture attempt). Simply put the trap (either will work on Magnamalo) next to it and throw the tranquilizers at it. (It'll need to be stuck in the trap and to be hit by 2 of these tranquilizer bombs). Once you've completed these steps the monster will be caught and you've finished the quest. Hope that helps!^^

If you like using tools and items, bombs do extra damage to him where the hellfire starts to build up. Bombardier Palicos have the advantage here

My first online Hub quest had me witness an IG user missing almost every attack and attempting to capture a Barroth at the start of the hunt. My second online Hub quest had me witness one GS user essentially solo a magnamalo, because of course.

MH is the only game I’ve ever played where “git gud” is a valid response. Learn the monsters movements, learn your weapon, dont button mash and you will beat any monster. (Even if you have to die a bunch of times first)

That Magnamalo even needs a tutorial is weird. It's really not hard to beat. And if you fail just study the monster and keep trying or maybe use another weapon. Same MH shiz as always. Only specific thing is his explosions that stick to you and can be placed as bombs with wire bug mobility moves
