I know this has been up for awhile, but thanks for the upload! I've been hoping an official transcription of the lyrics for this song would come out eventually, but I still have yet to find one. I also made my best attempt when Sunbreak released, and it's fairly similar for most of the song. There's two particular lines at the end of the choruses that stand out to me though; I replayed them over and over, but couldn't come up with anything in English that fit quite right. My conclusion: they might be French! Granted my knowledge is awful so someone feel free to correct me if French lyrics use different grammar, but... After "This road that I believe," I had "À le monde je ne vais voulir" for the first chorus, and "À le pleure à les fleurs de lis" for the second. Which if those are correct...is actually kinda beautiful wordplay. The grammar in the first line seems deliberately ambiguous, and can mean "To the world I don't want to go to" or "In the world I don't want to leave". The second chorus is even better, meaning "To/at the crying of the lily flowers". In Catholic mythology, lilies are said to have sprouted from the fallen tears of Eve after leaving Eden, and symbolize purity, innocence, and rebirth; they're often associated with funerals. But also, the Fleur-de-Lis symbol (⚜️) is associated with the French monarchy/knighthood, the Virgin Mary and Holy Trinity, and the three virtues of Faith, Wisdom, and Chivalry. What does this mean? Taken in context with the rest of the lyrics... This song seems to be about Fiorayne's mother, who passed away when she and her sister Rondine were still young to a mysterious cause (that later turned out to be Gaismagorm's Qurio). Fiorayne became a knight to honor and avenge her mother, and protect her sister and people; underneath all the bravado she's reluctant and knows it might be her own funeral someday, but sees it as a cause worth fighting for anyway. ...Or maybe I misheard and am reading far too into this, lmao. Either way it instantly made Fiorayne go from mildly irritating to my favorite NPC partner.
