Monster Hunter Stories 2 II Finding Super Rare Den (MHS2)

I did get one of these to spawn after SO LONG of resetting in terga volcano base, but whenever I kept going after getting the same teostra egg, I finally got a kirin egg something different. BUT that woke the velkhana sleeping there and I failed to get myself an elder dragon, soon in alcala another den appeared and this time I got a rajang. All I want is an elder dragon! :(

@@ultimatetokyo2004 Luck is top rn, hopped on and there was a den there and I got a dreadqueen rathian but I didn't want it so I decided to reload my save that had the den there and got a velkhana. And I also got an Oroshi Kirin so uh, luck. Hopefully you're having as good of a day as I am!

@@ultimatetokyo2004 Btw you can make the den appear on the map with a monstie that has nest search. You can use the ability to make it appear on the map and clearly show the super rare den!

Just save that’s what I did to get velkhana it resets the den

For me, it was in Alacala that I had the most ancient monster den! I had 3! one with a silver rathalos, one with kushala and one with velkhana. I really liked mhs2, I should play it again

im going to try this soon as well, i did solo the co op ones a couple times but i hate the random NPCs in them, theyre weak as dirt and i spent half the battle babysitting them on a normally easy boss for me... theyre so annoyingly bad idk if being lv 80+ makes them less annoying to constantly watch over but i hope they at least let us boot out the npc in a patch if we want, its not like youd be kicking a player out for being less skilled

@@ultimatetokyo2004 yeah, had a lot of MHGU rage quit drama from randoms so trying to do as much as i can solo unless a friend is free, i dont really want to deal with that again =/ it doesnt really make sense why people joined a deviant quest in GU just to quit after dying one time on the first game... why =(

@@Sleepy-Mal Dang, I see ur having a hard time, let me know if u need some help. I been co-oping with other players and we finish the quest completely with no one quitting. Weird that u are experiencing this... cuz I haven't.

@@ultimatetokyo2004 well quitters were a big problem in MHGU, in stories 2 ive simply chosen not to take the gamble on a similar problem so ive just been doing what i can solo. bosses to definitely avoid solo so far i can see is velkhana, the AI cant code to handle her at all. i had to use 5 vital essences on the NPC and 5 hot mists, the AI was doing very low damage compared to me and then she has a part of one phase where she uses like 4 AOEs in a row and i obviously can only cancel one of these, they hurt my person and monster a bit and AI nearly got one shotted several times. shes probably fine with another decent player but i dont recommend doing her with AI, its very tedious edit: thanks for offering help, im on discord if you have access to that

And yeah velkhana was kind of hard to defeat by urself that's why I used Kyle because he was a hunter that does decent damage plus he didn't have a monstie, you can also use Reverto too if u still decide to go solo. How do u fly?

Only certain types of monsties can fly, u view that in ur "lead monstie" menu and view under riding actions or even in the stables then press the "B" button.

It's a monstie called "Palamute" u can get online nor local play dens. I have video over me getting a palamute, if u want to watch it on my channel.

To find the Super Rare High Rank Dens do you need to do the Elder's Lair Challenge first? Maybe my luck is just bad but I haven't seen any yet.

You don't need to be in co op. You have to keep refreashing the map and if you want to increase your odds by using the prayer pot and use a search monstie to your advantage.

Only unlocked when u finish the game, but finding super rare dens on solo mode is frustrating trust me lmaoo😂😂
