Loved the story, again. Thank you! I have forgotten some details and it was nice that in the scene with Ratha I was like 'He spoke!!' again. It was fun and heartwarming.

I loved MHS on DS, it was disappointing when 2 didn't make it to the handheld. I've been playing through 1 on PS5 and I can't wait to start the 2nd game for the first time. Great job on becoming King of the Monsties!

There are just a few dialogue changes I do not like, but it is minor. The one with Ratha in the end, it is a reassuring message, “It’s okay…I’m here…” As the words doesn’t need to be spoken itself, as the message itself is more than enough to convey the emotion, and deeply does so. Another dialogue change was one with Cheval, and he called Ratha a one eye freak. Aside from these changes, the remastered version was very good, loved it.

I love the redone textures on nearly everyone but holy crap you can still tell this was once a 3DS game when looking at the doctor and his little henchmen’s mouth texture looks like a flat drawing placed over a potato 😂

Ive never heard of this series until checking out your playthrough of this remaster. The battle system seems a bit frustrating to me but everything else about it seems great! Cassette Beasts deserves to be in top 10 list of best monster hunter games of all time, IMO.

Have you tried Monster Sanctuary. My personal favourite turn based mechanic in a monster taiming game.
