I played it on PS5 for early access, and the performance mode felt like 480p. It was a mess. The resolution mode, however, looked decent enough to enjoy visually, but I had to use the 120hz mode (probably targeting 40fps, but unstable) to bear through it since 30fps wasn't cutting it. Not much difference, but it helped. Today, I played it on my 14700KF/4080S. Maxed everything at 4K DLAA/FG. Quality is night and day difference, and maintained about 100fps (or shy of it) most of the time, and saw some lows dipping into the low 80's and high 70's even during intense scenarios. DLSS Quality looks great as well, and there's about a 20fps gain compared to DLAA. I definitely expected worse from this game. Glad it was better than my expectations. Good to see other 40 series playing well.

im planning on upgrading my pc with parts similar to this benchmark. so its nice to have piece of mind that it all seems to be working well.

my monitor has freesync, basically i never have screen tear :) (only once, but i don't remember which game was lol)

8vram should be totally fine. If you look at the top right during his settings changes, it says only about 7.5 vram is actually being used

@@KyoKat I'm watching someone play it that has a 2070 super and they're still only getting 40fps at 1080p with all the lowest settings, dlss, and frame gen. Plus, it's still eating 6gb of their VRAM at the same time.

oooh right, but i guess is more related to VRAM problem, or even CPU, because 2070 at low should get 60 fps just like alan wake that runs between 50~70 fps

i usually focus at 1440p, except when the game can't run at 60 FPS D: but if at 1440p it runs fine, then at 1080p the game will run better (but with a worse image quality)
