When trying to lure a monster before it see you, you can shoot your slinger where you want it to go, and the monster will investigate the sound

You should do event quest "A fish to whet your appetie" the quest require you to capture 2 large whetfish, you will get whetfish fin + when you capture one. It's extremely important because the scale is basically a better version of your whetstone, 1 swipe and your sharpness is good as new. You can bring 5 of them in your pouch but don't worry cause it only have a small chance of lost after using

Shara’s one of my favorite monster designs, with all the Hindu imagery(lotus flower coloring and shapes, reincarnation, the distinctively shaped eyes like you would see on a demon). I love seeing the monster designers go crazy with just about any possible inspiration.

Congrats on finishing the tutorial lol! It was a joy to watch your Charge Blade MH journey, and its especially funny we both ended up preferring the same types of fights. Nergigante and Shara Ishvalda, to me, are some of the best feeling fights for CB. Shara especially, was a breath of fresh air after the slew of meth addict speedster monsters in the later part of Iceborne lol

Try "playing dead" when you get sent flying. You can wait to stand up to time your invulnerability frames and get out of the rythym of enemy attacks.

"Longest tutorial" you never played Xenoblade Chronicles 2. You're still getting tutorial messages when you have 80% of the game completion. For me it was around 100 hours of game time. By the way, the best looking armour of MHW is the worst looking armour on Monster Hunter Rise. If you like fashion hunting, MHR is your cup of tea.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but against Val Hazaak if you slot in Level 3 Effluvium Resistance it stops your health bar getting cut in half from her gas

there you have it. Shara is gone and you finished the story.. this story at least.. little advice if you shoot slingerammo in front of a monster and they dont see you (i usually use ghilie mantle) they follow the sound and stop where the slinger hit the ground

A good thing to add to that is that when you punch a monster to turn its head you can only do the claw attack 4 times before it gets angry and you're thrown off

sorry for backsitting but i main the charge blade. You can do the ultimate attack, that it is pressing both clicks at the same time 3 times, you can make it on blade mode or axe mode. The best combo to make consist just by starting on blade mode: 2 lights attacks, charge attack, change axe mode, 2 heavy attacks and finish with both clicks. This combo only work if you charge the shield before, i reccommend charge the blade too (at the start the combo you can use the charge blade attack and chain the other moves).

Btw if you want to get monsters near areas where you can drop stuff on them, you can shoot the ground where you want them to go and they will follow the sound of the slinger shot. But only if they haven’t seen you yet.
