gotta use the horizontal swing with the phials more, you can't bounce on phial attacks. also, the reason he fell down when you guard-pointed him is because you still do minor amounts of damage with the charged shield block so you did just enough to flinch him out of the air

You are a rare specimen, most people hate monkey because of its difficulty spike compared to the main story :D But I get why, he has so little openings it's very satisfying to use them well. Also he's the one monster that rides you when he grabs you, instead of you riding the monster.

Brooo it killed me when you missed seeing the full jang vs jho turf war towards the end of the fight. It is one of the, if not, most epic fights…nergigante turf war is just as epic! One thing that may help against hyper active monsters are using exhaust weapons but I don’t remember if there were any good ones by this point of the endgame.

I adore Rajang’s fight so much, love the good mix of defensive play plus having to increment moments of aggressiveness otherwise you’re overrun. Lotta people hate Rajang but I love the funny monkey and I hope he’s just as intense as he was in world in wilds if he comes back!

4:13 behold, the classic kirin combo:Thunderblight->Stun->Paralysis💀

Kirin kinda becomes a joke when you have 20+ thunder resist, and you can achieve that by just eating 6x veggies at the canteen, maybe add a gem or 2 if you're short. Same thing goes for all the "wizard" mobs that like to use a lot of elemental attacks like coral pukei, legiana, etc. 20 resist also makes you immune to the elemental blights.

Ah yes.. Monke. Hes pretty strong and there are a couple things to watch out for.. dont know if you saw them or not. 1. Hes a fast Monster so dont rush attacks and the safest place is behind him as the only thing he can do is the back.. step thing and this 180° turn slam. when he is enraged.. well everything is ofc stronger but there is a third phase. in that phase he screams, throws you back and his Arms glow red. Then if not tenderized your attacks will bounce off. easiest way to get him out of the enraged modes is by attacking the tail. other than that if he is angry, shocktraps will have no effect as he´ll just destroy them. and lastly, be careful when trying to grapple onto his arm, he can grab you from that and pin you.. if you are pinned, use flashpods or scatternuts. My personal advice, only have slinger if you plan on wall banging the Monkey, if not have Flashpods or Scaternuts just in case.. if you still have problems then (maybe in the future) a faster weapon like SnS or Insect Glaive (with ice element for Rajang) will help.. a lot But as always, have fun and seeya on the next one :)

I'm sure you will finish the game soon (depending on how Fatalis goes) but I'm here to recommend a game! If you enjoy MHW, Dragon Dogma 2 will be out very very soon, and it's a very good game in my opinion. Not only that, MHW (monster hunter wilds, is the next triple A or whatever Monster Hunter game in the series.) So there's 2 games I think someone would enjoy if they liked Monster Hunter Worlds
