Still remember the show near Mayberry NC. Little club and we were the few that were there. Ended up hanging backstage. No groupies, just a bunch of bored musicians happy to get blazed with us. This was before they were doing big shows. Early Spine of God tour. Great guys! Still love you guys MM!!!!

first time i saw them was in '95 in Indianapolis. Sweet Water was the opening band, followed by Deftones, then Monster Magnet was the headliner!

@Basik I know. It's actually Mt. Airy but everyone I've met from there calls it Mayberry. Plus, I was totally wrong even about Mt Airy. It was a show in Winston Salem. The 90's are a bit of a blur these days.

Being from western NC in the void, that is awesome. I saw a band named Temptor from Morganton who played covers of Alice In Chains and Slayer, and was blown away. For you to actually see MM is fantastic!!
