I would recommend also picking up the perfect edition of 20th century boys it’s the same author and it is just as good IMO. They are currently being released and have the same multiple high volume format. Great review as well

Monster is amazing, one of the few cases where the hype turns to be justified. SPOILERS the one thing which was disappointing is the wrong pick of Johan/Anna. I can buy the mother mistaking her children, and I understand it was traumatic and all. But for Johan and Anna to mistake the memory as it happened to the other... HOW?! What kind of bullshit is that? Who the hell mistakes an event from first person to third, or otherwise? Didn't it bug you? This series was one of my favorites ever, but this one twist seemed so stupid...

Anna told Johan everything she saw and right after that,after crossing the border,Johan was put in Kinderheim 511 where his memories were tampered with due to all the brainwashing he was subjected to. Monster, o mangá, deve ser menos entediante, assisti o anime completo e achei uma das piores porcarias que já vi na vida. A trama promete pra cacete no início, mas nunca acontece nada realmente grandioso. Tudo na trama é mal explicado, e o final é uma verdadeira perda de tempo. Pra não dizer que foi tão ruim assim, aprendi como uma história NÃO deve ser contada. Talvez o sucesso seja pela abordagem séria, isso é realmente inovador, mas o "desenvolvimento" história é uma merda.Sim, entre aspas, porque nunca chega em lugar nenhum. A arte gráfica é a única coisa que vale a pena conferir do meu ponto de vista.
