We slammed them out at race and around backside of race rock Monday the 17th! Four of us got 45-47inchers! We caught 38 total stripers. Birds and bait were all over till tide went slack then race rock we were slamming them every pass trolling. Saturday was the opposite so things are just getting fired up!

What were you jigging the seas bass with?

I'm not sure exactly what brand they were but I typically use the Hayabusa jigs in 200g and 250g sizes. Pink works best!

I'm pretty sure the stripers have moved out completely now. I did hear that there's been some really nice fish at the mouth.

There's tons of great fishing spots from shore available. A guy just caught an 8lb Fluke from shore in Stonington last week.
