I fish for sharks in NC too and finally just got a big enough setup to try doing this. What kind of line/leader/hooks do you recommend?

For casting i’d go with 50lb braid or heavier but for deployment you need to use a bare minimum of 100lb, for leaders I highly recommend that you buy some premade ones it’ll definitely save you the time and trouble, Mad Kingz Tackle would be the best place in the area to grab some at

why in the H** he ask for your id and name lol. from my understanding u can catch and keep one shark per day unless its certain ones u cant i wouldnt know never have landed one that big always a good fight for a few minutes til it breaks off. dont understan why cops were called people can be pricks

I think they can get fishing licenses from IDs and someone called them because they thought it was a beached whale lol
