0:10 probably didn’t want to deal with the legal issues, but it would have been cool though

I would highly encourage you to look into the Last Divinity DLC before you put this down. The DLC adds another clan, secondary champions and starter cards for all clans, a super-boss battle (similar to the heart in StS), and the pact shard/infusion mechanic which adds a lot of depth to the game. I find that I end up playing significantly more Monster Train than Slay the Spire, because it scratches the same itch while much more easily fitting runs in and around other things in my schedule.

I've played a couple hundred hours of Monster Train. You don't even want to know the hours spent on Slay the Spire. 😅

the title alone makes it sound very interesting

I've tried a few of them, but they just don't grab me. Glad you found one you liked.

I'm over 200 hours in Slay the Spire, and I still haven't won with the Defect. I won with the Watcher [but she's basically easy mode], and the Silent, so the Defect is last. [I can't get the Ironclad to work for me no matter what I do, so I'm not bothering with him anymore]. It's especially ironic since the Defect is my best character, and my favourite. The Shield-Spear mini-boss just wrecks me every time. >.< I might check out Monster Train at some point, it looks like a lot of fun!

It's good stuff. I actually had played it more than Slay the Spire for some time.
