JPdriftz33 dude the monster jam trucks run a 450 ford big block, it's sad because a ford truck is a piece of shit that has a ton of problems yet a Ford Big block 450 is a badass engine that can push a 15000 pound truck at 60 mph at 1500HP and can jump 50 to 60 ft in the air.

Also most of the engines in a monster jam truck are supercharged, like gravedigger is running the same engine you would find in a topfuel dragster as well as supercharged.

Loved the idling, myself. One of my very favorite sounds is a built engine just idling. A thing of beauty. Not to mention when it clears it's throat, and buggies... Don't know that I'd ever want to go that HIGH, but would love to have one that sounds that good. You have to have some serious hosspower to turn wheels THAT big! Considering it's use (street) 400hp mopar is fine with it and also for the lack of roll cage, i think it's pretty fine tho. The owner never intended it for competition. Pure aesthetics only.
