I would argue even here Destroyah’s durability is still criminally underrated. Even ignoring powerscaling think about how dest just so happened to be unlucky enough to end up in the only era with mass amounts of temperature based weaponry & burning Godzilla and still managed to be an absolute tank. Well, I'd say the two Oxygen Destroyers are somewhat incomparable. The Oxygen Destroyer in Toho's continuity full-on dissolves Godzilla and the fish it was tested on, while the one in the Monsterverse does something else, seeing how their are still corpses left behind. Which makes me think Legendary Destoroyah is going to be MUCH different than his Toho counterpart.

While Toho’s OD completely dissolved things down to the bone and works on the atomic level seeing as it destroys oxygen molecules. By all technicalities the Toho OD far eclipses the MV OD in terms of power.

@@UnknownMystery95 while we can’t say for certain how it would affect MZ, even though I’m of the belief it would still affect him to an extent, we can say for certain Toho’s OD would most certainly have killed Godzilla if it was dropped instead of the MV’s. Also yes the MV OD lacking a shockwave means it doesn’t produce a damaging explosion upon detonation. Which makes it overall less destructive as it simply removes oxygen like an asphyxiation bomb. So it might not have done much more to MZ in the long run, but at least we wouldn’t see perfectly in tact fish bodies after it goes off.

Freezing the sky it's *maybe* can be a good feat but she actually doesn't show anything that strong in action, this also applies to the novelization. The most impressive thing she showed in battle is the freezing Scar King, which is kinda good, but Scar King is Great Ape and they are not so durable. So yeah, she *is* strong, but not that much, or at least the filmmakers couldn't show her like that. To be honest enemies in the New Empire were just stomped by Godzilla and Kong, so they just don't look strong. In my opinion of course. Also sorry for my bad english.

To be fair it can go both ways depending on 1 thing, and that's if the 2 oxygen destroyers are concidered to work the same way, cuz if yes ghidorah would be unaffected by destroyah's attacks and destroyah has no way to deal with Ghidorah at range. In addition, Ghidorah's regeneration would keep him alive for long enough to realize that destroyah's slicer is dangerous and he then would just evade it and run away to beam spam, overall I don't see a way destroyah can keep up with Ghidorah to continually deal damage, as Ghidorah can easily retreat and beam spam him to death. But if you say they are 2 completely different weapons than you can argue that dest can deal with mz from range aswell and keep the pressure going until he overpowers it somehow (idk how he can deal with the Regen but i guess since he cannot lose he will eventually find a way)

He has ranged attacks, the oxygen destroyer and floral beam, the oxygen destroyer dosent work like it works in the monster verse, in the heisei verse it dissolves tissue, which is what mz is made, also since Dest flew from Tokyo to Tokyo bay in a minute, which is a 29km gap which also means he flew around Mach 3, he did this while also dragging burning with his tail, he can also Siphon energy from mz, draining him while empowering himself, he could also absorb his dna and transform into a new version that counters mz.

Honestly the way I think this goes is pretty simple, if hard. Fight starts and Destroyah may land his ray but it won't do anything because of Zero's biology, same way the Oxygen Destroyer just didn't do anything. Then Zero starts just hammering him. Gravity beams, throwing him, biting him, lifting and slamming him. But in the end it won't do enough. Destroyah will heal, or do his break-apart-recombine trick, he'll keep coming. And once Zero starts getting tired the Variable Slicer is going to start cutting him to ribbons. And eventually Destroyah will either exhaust his energy by continual cutting, or he'll start sucking in his DNA until he gets the right power to finish it.

for agility, Monster Zero’s heads wouldn’t count as agile movement. Monster Zero would gain a point for reflexes like you said, all 3 heads were able to react and move aside to dodge the Atomic Breath Titanus Godzilla used against him. and my opinion, Destoroyah could take a win, due to Monster Zero using much power in battle & regeneration. on the other side, Monster Zero features high speeds which he can use against Destoroyah. my based win, neither of them would win. Destoroyahs durability is honestly too powerful, but when Monster Zero gets through to his weakness, he’ll get screwed, but Destoroyah will soon be able to adapt to Monster Zero’s movement and reflexes to the point when one of them win, they will die afterwards due to using to much power in battle.

Once you get into powerscaling everything fun goes out the window, so I'm happy you didn't wank destroyah to lightspeed. Personally, i think this fight would be decided in the very first moments. Either destroyah gets the shots he needs before zero closes in on him, or Ghidorah used his superior speed and weight to pin destroyah and painstakingly kill or absorb him.

For me personally it really boils down to if the variable slicer could cut through Ghidorahs neck and considering Godzilla could tear off one if the heads with his mouth imma say yeah it definitely can. Quick note: Destoroyahs beams wouldnt work against Monster Zero because it was shown hes immune to the oxygen destroyer, and thats what his beams are made from. If monster zero stayed far back and beams destoroyah and dodged his attacks he would pretty easily win, Monster zero would take heavy damage if he got hit by Dest’s melee attacks like his variable slicer, but he is agile enough to dodge and sense the attacks, while Destoroyah is slower on land and couldn’t be able to dodge MZ’s beams, which knocked down Godzilla easily.

that just adds on to it, think about the actual oxygen destroyer, it corroded anything around it. That's simply an ADDITION to the oxygen destroyer, it has force and power behind it but has that additional effect

I might just be reading your comment wrong, but Ghidorah was literally unphased by the oxygen destroyer, like he got hit with it and it nearly killed godzilla but he just flew back out like it was nothing. Also, I believe Ghidorah would take durability because it was stated Godzillas beam is the most powerful thing in nature (it was in some book i forgot i watched a godzilla guy video lol) which means its more powerful than something like a black hole. It might just mean it’s more destructive but I doubt that, and Ghidorah took one point blank right to the chest and showed barely any physical damage.

I think Destoroyah wins much more easily than high difficulty because of his ability to divide in previous forms and recombine fully regenerated. And also the ability to absorb DNA from enemies.
