I rarely ever see a cellar spider or a centipede lose a fight. I guess you have to pit them against each other for one to actually lose a battle. I expected the cellar spider would win as soon as I saw that centipede climb into its web, but damn, that was so close. I'm very grateful these things are not large enough to be a threat to humans.

I grow my own Mary Jane in a green house that simulates a rain forest conditions. This is how I met the jumping spider for myself. I live in Oregon and we have all kinds of bugs but I was shocked at the behavior off the jumping spider. It was the first spider I saw that looked directly at me. It’s a scary experience to have a spider turn and lift its head to look at you. It also hid bEhind the branches trying to break eyeliner with me. Cool spiders but next season I’m spraying for bugs

Yeah, the Speckled House Spider vs Leaf Cutter Ant Soldier battle was unfair af, but the Geophilid Centipede vs Costa Rican Cellar Spider was Fair because Geos can actually beat some spiders in their Web, he couldn't beat the Cellar Spider because of it's long legs and Cellar Spiders are very Good Predators.

Here's what you can count on. Centipede > most of the insects on here. Any insect up against a web dwelling spider is likely to lose. They play it off like it's gonna be one on one when it is any other insect vs. an ant. You always have to fight the whole squad when it comes to ants.

Jordan Alexander French that's what I think too. I think this is a large multiple camera terrarium filled with rare plants with black/brown backgrounds. They probably switch up habitats for each episode and introduce different species to see what works. Entomologists do the same apparently to study insects in lab environments. Makes it a little unfortunate for the creatures but I still love the show anyway.
