According to a 2021 Famitsu interview, Toho Games is planning on using these games for experience, and then using that to develop a multiplatform console game. That's what the devs want, at least.

@@neophantomkaiju if they were western devs that would be a given but given they're Japanese devs, it'll be 50/50 as to whether we've get an instant PC release or at least temporary console exclusivity. Hopefully it's the former cause I know the modding scene would be absolutely wild on a game like that.

LOL, I feel you on Battle Line, it really gets you. You have to pay the monthly $4.99 to at least be competitive, but it does get addicting and frustrating, ugh. The pipeworks trilogy was amazing, but tbh, I would honestly rather have a game that is just like the Godzilla PS4 game, no hate to pipeworks though, their games were good, except for the wii one, that was kinda bad cuz of the motion controls

I kinda came up with an idea for a new/future Godzilla video game last year. It would be the first ever Open World Kaiju-Fighting game (though I might be wrong). but I decided to add some new things along with the basics such as.... 1. Play as mighty Kaiju and battle to your heart’s desires 2. Travel across the Globe and destroy massive Cities in your path 3. Battle other Monsters, Aliens and Mechas with your fighting skills and unlock the power of the Kaiju 4. Unlock more kaiju, cities and mini games 5. Customizable Skin Sets for your Kaiju 6. 4-Player Online/Offline Split-screen Co-Op 7. Forge; create your own arena and destroy 8. Theater Mode; take photos of your battles or create your own Kaiju Machinima

godzilla battle line is basically clash royale but with kaiju best part about battle line is that theres 0 advertisement, different franchises all together and those movie things that you can turn into shorts where you make 2 kaiju fight and whoever wins is completely random.

Hey MIB, there’s this game called Kaiju Universe on Roblox. I was skeptical when I first saw it was on Roblox but it’s actually really fun. It’s a multiplayer sandbox in which you get to choose from an assortment of Monsters and either destroy cities or fight other players. They have most Godzilla monsters and some from pacific rim and other movies. I think it’s worth checking out.

i played battle line for a bit then a update locked me out of my account, i dont know how but it did. we NEED another Godzilla console game like Godzilla on ps4, My idea for one would be have a story mode where you go through all the movies and unlock every monster including all the godzilla suits. then have a free roam/open world where you pick a monster (including villians)you unlocked then start off on Monster Island and walk out into the ocean and go to different locations all over japan(designated by Arrows). For example you could swim to Tokyo and fight the military then land in Tokyo and destroy as much of the city as you want with no barriers to stop you. and if you didnt want to land in tokyo you could destroy another city or just stomp around the enitre country of japan, but once you destroy a city it takes a certain amount of in game or real world time for the cities you destroyed in Japan to rebuild.

I played Godzilla Battle Line for a long time but eventually the rewards were rare and new characters were rare, I was constantly losing and I had some characters at level 20 to 30 and most at level 10 to 20, it didn't matter what I did, I was constantly losing at that point so I wasn't getting any rewards, couldn't level up cause everyone costed too much to level up, some characters were event restricted so if I didn't get them all, I was screwed, it didn't matter what characters I used, I was constantly losing, so I gave up, I loved this game and it wasted hours of my time, but I gave up cause it was practically doing nothing and the temptations for spending were getting to me and I fought against it hard to not spend, I had to get rid of it cause it wasn't worth it anymore

Hey MIB, not to add fuel to the fire, but the best Goji-style mobile game i’ve found is “Monster Evolution: Hit & Smash”. It’s very similar to Godzilla: Destruction, but i found it _way_ less annoying, and far easier to progress without spending money or getting inundated with ads. Might be worth checking out. Just don’t be fooled by other ‘Monster Evolution’ games (which are more like Pokemon) make sure it’s Hit & Smash 😉 Oh, and Lol @ 2:40 😂🤣😂🤣

Sadly, the closest thing to a Godzilla console game we'll most likely be getting is a switch port of Terror of Hemasaurus once the game is finished. Don't get me wrong, it looks like an amazing game and I'll be happy to play it once the developer finishes, but I too long for a new official Godzilla game. Hell I'd be happy if they released Kaijū Daikessen on the PSN store or something.

I'm a bit sucked into Battle Line too. It is better than some gachas in my opinion because it does have a daily 'off switch' in that you can only progress two levels a day on the seasonal ladder thing. You can keep playing of course, but the fact that you won't get the rewards for it for another day is enough for me at least.

From these 3, My favourite is Battle Line. Its fun and have big roster of kaijus. Destruction was... good? Models good, graphics are bad. Run Godzilla is awful no comment. The thing that MIB hit himself with a bottle thats....a sacrifice. But as always its enterteining! (My bad)
