I put my throw line on a spool like that too. After watching your videos I'm going to put my bar and chain oil in a detergent container as well. I know your videos aren't how to videos... but they certainly point out things I need to learn. Learning climbing and tree work for maybe 6 months now rigorously and everytime I get confident I realize there's much more I absolutely need to know. Thank you for your videos. They're entertaining but also helpful in their own, non-how-to way.

sounds like you've got an open mind to the various options out there, which is certainly a good thing. What an exciting time to be breaking into tree work ... good stuff buddy! take things slow and double up on safety. most bad accidents happen early on so stay safe!

Dude I love it. I'm just a homeowner that does tree work and everything I haven't learned by experience I learned from these arborists on KZbin. Every tree a new challenge. One thing I don't think KZbin can teach you is how to trust a 4 inch spar when you're 80 feet up! Prayer helps! God bless. You're probably way ahead of me now since I only need to take down a few a year and not all even need to be climbed. Many times I have wanted to quit software and start a tree business even with the paycut. I wish you the best.

Good job Spencer. You’ve been cutting down trees and I’ve been planting. I grafted 75 apple rootstock this spring. 73 have taken so far so I’ll be planting them soon. You need to do a chestnut orchard update.
@metaspencer7 ай бұрын
that's a pretty good success rate on the grafting! we lost a few chestnut trees from last year's planting but overall they're going strong. This year's batch seems healthy though a few (2 or 3 out of 100) were duds. So it goes I guess :)
