Last job with both: the chipper went back to the rental place and the crew is going back to college. So it'll be solo work with the old dump trailer starting next Monday :)

Classic fence work at the beginning 😂 How’s the loader working out for you? I’ve really been considering making that leap recently. We rent one quite a bit
@metaspencer4 ай бұрын
I really like the loader and often think "How did I survive without it???" Takes extra trips picking it up at the job site after work is done, but it speeds up moving HEAVY STUFF by a lot ... great to move those 12' logs around and grab huge piles of brush. if mine died today I'd buy a new one tomorrow

Where's a 40' 661 Polesaw when ya need one? Serious question; how often do the blades need to be sharpened .. etc. on that chipper? btw, nice chipper.
@metaspencer4 ай бұрын
This chipper had a huge bolt stuck in it when I got it so ya know sharpening all depends on how much metal and rock and dirt you run through it. With nice clean wood ya only have to sharpen once a month or so. Great machines if you can keep them runnin

They should've let you know that they added work before you got there. That could be problematic at times; especially when there's bigger trees added among the extra work
@ScottWConvid194 ай бұрын
I hope they give you a tip on top of paying you more for the extras
@metaspencer4 ай бұрын
Yeah I hate it when they try to add in trees ... throws everything off especially timing. In this case I charged them extra and made it work, but it's usually annoying

You used to cut trees the logical way with angled face cut proceeded by flat cut now you are making your face cuts like many of the bozos in the industry...looking like a child as you chase your cuts. Why did you change?
