I would love it! My mom passed 5 years after my dad and I know, now, that there were some things not said that should have. I think it would be most healing for me because it's still very raw even though it's been 12 years since she's been gone. It would be so awesome if you did reverse covers of some famous love songs. It's really hard to find a good love song that I can send my hubby that isn't a male singing about a woman! LOL

I just wanted to thank you for this incredibly beautiful song. You have no idea how much it means to me, because it helped me say everything I needed to say to my dad. His cancer came on so fast, & sadly lost him 9 days after finding out his diagnosis. I was able to play this right after we took him off ‘Comfort Care’, and even though he was unconscious, I KNOW he heard it, because I got his very last hand squeeze. This song will be forever in my heart, and will be played often. Thanks again for giving us ‘Daughters’ a way to say goodbye to our Daddy’s. ❤️❤️

Thank you for this version. My heart needed it just now. My dad passed in ‘03 just a few months prior to me getting married. As his youngest child, I couldn’t bear a full wedding without him walking me down the aisle. So my husband and I scraped everything and got married at the courthouse instead with family and friends as witnesses. I don’t regret it for the world. We’ve been happily married with 3 kids since. My dad’s birthday was just a few days ago and had I found this song on that day, it would’ve broke me like the day he died. It still broke me but not as bad! LOL. You have the voice of an angel and just gained another subscriber. ❤️❤️❤️

I think any type of loss is extremely difficult but I can’t imagine having to plan a wedding after losing a parent so I completely understand why you chose to get married in a courthouse instead. I have been a Daddy's girl all my life, even through tearaway teenage years. I lost my Dad to MND in October and found this video a fortnight ago. It is so beautiful and your voice adds so much more emotion to it. I never got the chance to say goodbye to my Dad because he went suddenly in his sleep without warning, but had I of being there, it would have gone something like this song.

It truly is hard to see what used to be the strongest man you knew turn into someone almost like a child. He sometimes has a hard time telling the difference in what is a hallucination or reality and calls me in to help come back to what's real. He has good days and bad days, and right now he seems to be doing really well. Thank you!!!
