The ‪@mtsim‬ chair is over the top amazing. ‪@NOOBIFIER1337‬ does a great job of reviewing their products and check out his channel for a discount code. I bought this chair based off his superb videos. But since I’m just regular guy that gets a few hours a month to fly in ‪@EagleDynamicsTV‬ I wanted to share a few unedited pictures and thoughts on this product.

Really great review! Now that it’s been almost a year, has your opinion on the chair changed at all? How do you find the comfort of the chair? Is the base cushion really firm or can you fly a mission or two without issue? Not a ton of long term reviews out there, so curious if you had any updated thoughts on the setup. Thanks in advance!

Hey the chair has held up great. I use it mostly for work now as my dcs time has evaporated pretty good when I do work from home. One thing to note though, plan out how you plan to store any accessories etc that you get. I think my collective with the throttle weighed on one side pretty good. I noticed it before any issues, but all I’m saying is don’t leave a bunch asymmetrically on the chair. It’ll hold up to it - but I’m treating the chair with some respect now and not like it’s invincible. I’m still trying to figure out the best situation to store - I’m having a hard time paying $140 to buy a few brackets. I’ll figure it out though. The fabric and comfort is good to me. Certainly no complaints there.

Awesome review. I'm in the process of replacing my simpit seat and adding a Virpil Collective and center stick for DCS Helicopters. I was considering the same color, which they don't list for the pilot seat version (probably a custom order and additional wait time). I'll probably just get the standard PU leather Black, which would look great in my simpit. My only concern is Durability. I read that PU leather is only good for between 3 to 5 years.

Thanks for the kind words! Give them a shout on the color they responded quickly to my emails. Thanks for the info on the PU leather. That is good info. After a few months now I love found my dcs time is severely limited, but the chair gets used for work often and I love it.

@@fathersonhobbies4567 I'm in the same boat when it comes to limited DCS time. I reached out to them and was told that due to severe backlog, no colors are available for the pilot seat yet. Who knows when or if they'll ever be.

@@fathersonhobbies4567 update: They got back to me with the option to order the MPS in Cordura Falcon green for an additional $90 with no added wait time. So that's what I did, since I'd rather not take a chance with the Faux leather.

Can you take a tape measure and report the distance across from right to left from the outside of the CM3 to the outside of the mousepad? I'm putting the chair in a confined space and need to know if it will fit.

Is it comfortable as far as the chair itself? And how do you feel about the Cordura fabric?

I very much like the style and comfort. It took a while for me to really get it comfortable. But now that I’ve got it optimized for me, l thoroughly enjoy it. Keep in mine though you really need to set it up right. The fabric is just fine although I guess I wasn’t sure exactly what I expected. If I were to rebuy I may stick with the black options. It does seem very durable but doesn’t have a carhart rugged stiff feeling to it. So maybe a meshing together of comfort and ruggedness. I’ll be sure to update if I see it fall apart but I doubt that will be the case. I should also note this is by far the most premium seat I’ve ever used. So for me it’s amazing. If you have a high end chair I don’t know how they compare. I do think the fact that the mounts work with it so easily are really a huge part of the value here though

I have a nice seat, but it's not comfortable, so I was looking to swap it with something that would be much more comfortable and functional. I was wondering about the cordura, but I'd probably go with the leather; I wonder if it's worth the extra price.

Thanks for the review. I have a question, is there a reason why the base of the center stick if so far out ? Is there a way to make it fit into the cut out ? It feels really far, the cut out is suppose to allow the stick to be as close as possible. It is completely useless the way you have mounted it and I am really curious as why.

Hey I think it may just be optics from the camera and the limits of my primitive effort. When seated it’s perfect. Full aft on the stick and you don’t want it any further in your lap. I don’t get a commission if you buy it so I’m not trying to sell you on it but I would not be afraid of it being too far out. There are some alternative methods to get it mounted but I liked this one the best for me. Best of luck!

Is there adjustability in the center mount for height? I have the same virpil setup as you and got the center mount and chair ordered. Just wondering if I’ll be able to adjust it height wise.

Yes it’s not easily adjustable, as in you wouldn’t want to have to do it everyday, but when you’re setting it up, it’s no problem to adjust.

I love it. The only only advice I can give is to really set it up tailored to you. There are so many adjustments. I’ve used it as an my home office chair when wfh about 10x more than I’ve sim’d in it….

How long did it take from the date of purchase to delivery at your front door?

I think it was about 4 weeks. The big delay was on the sim pit chairs I was told. Could have been a lucky combination though of the color I got as well.
