I've fallen in love with chestnut desserts over the last year. The Japanese version of montblanc is also wonderful. I'll have to make this myself soon!

You got that right! Well, in Japan it is called Mount Fuji 🤪

It would be great to learn the thought process of how you come up with new dishes as a professional chef! I am a home cook who usually cook traditionally most of the time but really interested in trying to make something new and unique. When it comes to Western food, you are the No.1 chef I follow!

I'm a simple home cook. But I might have a suggestion for inspiration! Look up what ingredients are in season. And look up what is local to you. I found this old windmill near my house that has this small shop inside, selling flower. I also discovered a new butcher shop that opened up, selling the most beautiful ham. The greengrocer nearby was selling Jerusalem artichokes and had some good looking mushrooms. So I used all these ingredients to make a pizza, and it turned out delicious! Local and in-season ingredients makes a good base for most dishes

@@rooster3103 What a beautiful place you live in! That's a great suggestion indeed. There are some local farmers selling fresh eggs near my place and a butcher making homemade rashers. Seems like a plan to me!

Yum! Beautiful dessert. I was hoping in the end you would poke a fork into it to see inside textures and layers pull away as the fork breaks into it.
