I've been wearing the anthracite noble for the last 30 days : Dressy but sporty at the same time. Love the lume and how thin it is. Monta bracelet (I'm an oyster guy) is awesome. It's very well regulated !! I wear it in every occasion and I already scratched the polished bezel but hey watch are tools after all. Indices are facetted in a way that makes them very reflective and therefore ready to read.

That’s my only issue. The polished bezel will easily show scratches. Though maybe can polish out with some polishing cream and cloth.

I think it's so rare that a new brand emerges and there seems to be a consistent and unique design language, from the logo to the watches themselves, and I really think Monta has it. It feels and looks like a brand that has always been there and you feel you already know. Also, I love the channel and think some of this photography is stunning. Great watches always help, too, of course! ;)

Great description saying that it is very Aqua Terra. I totally agree. Has very much the same vibe, especially with the 6 o’clock date. Great clasp as well. Thank God Tudor finally migrated to that style with their new bronze, Black Bay 58. I can’t believe it’s taken until now to get past three micro adjustments on those clasps, but I digress. The Monta looks great, and I think I like the anthracite dial the best as well.

With a colour-matched date wheel, the anthracite would be a must-have for me. A no-date option would also be good for those who want it to lean a bit further into dressy territory. As it is, the utilitarian date window says "9-5 at the office" a little too loudly for me.

Really enjoyed this review of a brand I've been watching for some time. Your photography and description were spot on and this grey anthracite option maybe the one I just can't pass by. Interesting you compared it to the Omega AT. I can see that. Though for me it has a bit of the Rolex OP about it too. Either way its a beautiful piece. I have the blue Noble and just got the gilt Skyquest. So good. Now, I'm thinking about selling most of the rest of my watches. I was considering Rolex OP, Tudor BB 41, Omega AT and Seamaster 300. But I'm like, "meh, what's the point?" There would be a point if I cared about brand heritage, in-house movements or showing off, but I don't. So, Monta.

I have the anthracite dial Noble and it's very much a good contender against the Black Bay 36, Rolex OP, or Aquaterra. I used to have an Aquaterra and this watch is easier to read with a better bracelet. Better low light legibilty as well. The Noble is very well made. I love how thin it is and how comfortable it is to wear.

Display backs are fine but I don't really need to see the die-formed sheet metal architecture of my Seiko SNZG. I really don't get why you'd need to see that. The Monta falls into the Luxury-Industrial category so acceptable. It's pretty nice.

If they shortened and slimmed the lugs, I'd be all over this thing. I love the thickness (thinness). I want it to be a slightly larger BB36. As it is, is seems like a 114060. I Hope they do to the case what Rolex did with the 124060.

In my radar for a long time. Great size with 38-39mm and sw300 movement which is based on eta 2892 makes this watch really charming for me. Never tried it on my wrist before but sure it must be more comfortable than my BB58 cos of its uncomfortable 3micro adjust hole bracelet.👌

I don't understand why brands don't make honestly white dials. I have an longines silver arrow wich I bought thinking it has a white dial, but when I got it, it was silver (yeah it's in the name). I loved the glashutte original panomatic whit white dial, until I realized it was silver and now I loved the white dial monta until you said it was silver. Whyyyy😭😭😭

Had a Triumph, very good watch, but alas to small for me. A top micro brand in my opinion, way above the typical Micro stuff out there. But be forewarned buy bracelet versions first then buy a strap. Monta wants 600+ shipping for their bracelets (got mine on leather) AND they told me (when I owned it), we can’t send you one now, no spares!. That price with duties and exchange made it over a grand Canadian for the bracelet, that’s way too much when a high end Miltat (Strapcode) costs less than 200 landed. Thought that was a bit odd, but they are nice watches.

Word of caution. There is $150 restocking fee. The watch has to be in exact condition as received. So unless you know this is exactly what you want, you will end up wasting $150+return shipping. If you take out any plastic, they will reject the return. Pretty rigid for a online only brand. Not sure why all these reviews fail to mention this. There is no “checking it out”.

I just received my Monta Noble today. I was eager to open it and try it on. Then was a bit disappointed, the watch is pretty small and light and has a cheap feel about it. The band is very flimsy and feels cheap and the case itself is so so but definitely doesn't warrant all the hype. The micro adjustments on the band slip, so when you adjust them and wear the watch then take it off they slip back out and you have to adjust it again before you wear it. Also the power reserve is only a few hours, I can wear it all day then take it off before bed and in the morning it has stopped and I have to re-set it. Over all its probably on par with your average run of the mill everyday watch you can buy at one of those kiosks in the middle of the mall. It's nothing special and definitely not worth the price point.

in theory, i love this brand. The finishing, price point and ease of finding watchmakers who can service this are incredible, and the case dimensions are lovely along with the bracelet.....but for some reason i cant get past the overall dial design. Something feels off to me, and i feel like there's too much negative space not being utilized. The minute track is really wide and the incredibly-finished indices are pushed outwards a tad bit too far. the stubbly-proportioned markers distract me from how great the handset finishing is. (This is only my own opinion and appeals to my taste- im open to other perspectives) Thank you for making videos like these. your humor is a nice touch from the rest of the overly-serious snobs
