Not for me, Comparing Blue/ gold Rolex Subs with an Aluminum bezel to a newer one with ceramic- the older Aluminum bezel looks more tasteful and the ceramic looks too shinny/ flashy - I'm not a rap star. I have ordered a Tusano Shell back with a ceramic bezel maybe they will grow on me. I recently held a Rolex GMT Pepsi (which I have never liked, and still think it looks tacky especially in ceramic) and for some reason do like the looks of the Monta Pepsi.

Very good video. I actually agree with everything you said-100%. I was lucky enough to pick one of these up about two months ago. It’s a really good watch that gets more than it’s fair share of wrist time against Rolex, Tudor, Longines, and TAG.

The Skyquest now comes with the new clasp. The new clasp is much easier to close. You no longer need to push hard to close the clasp.

Great review! Although this is a callers GMT, it has many use cases as well. Not a deal breaker as I have other travelers GMT. Would choose this over the clunky Tudor tbh

Great video! I like Monta, but the proportions of the dial/hands always throws me off. I think the value is there but the design isn’t yet

I really like this Monta, but for a Microbrand and the movement, it's too expensive, especially when I factor in the import tax to the UK, which means I'll never own it.

I just got one. It's a beautiful watch. However, when I press the bezel it goes down as if it bounces. Is that normal?

Some captive-style bezel will depress downwards in order to turn it, as a safety feature. The click spring might also have some loose tolerance, but not a hug issues overall imo. Cheers

Don’t buy into the hype and don’t waste your money. Purchased the gilt Pepsi and the first one I received had scuffs and dirt on the interior of the watch box, had a faulty crown that wouldn’t engage and the whole dial moved when pulling out the crown. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked for a replacement to be sent. The second one had a noisy rotor that could be heard and felt and ran at -20 sec / day. They did ultimately give me a refund but there response was a bit backhanded as they basically said “I’m sorry that you’re sorry” instead of owning their mistakes. They also failed to publish my two star review on their website. Engaging in review censorship is unacceptable.They should stick to make watch straps for other watch brands that actually know how to make watches.

I have had the opposite experience. I bought the opaline Skyquest from a brick and mortar store, and it was a great experience. The price tag seems high at first, but the watch I got was a nice watch- top notch sharp looking, but a great tool watch-just want to share that your negative experience balances out my good one. It sucks that you didn’t get the same experience. I would be mad too.
