First Italian one from 1982 is so nice to hear! Hard choice, but I’ll probably go with the Venezuelan dub song (second Spanish one) Not sure exactly when and where the second Arabic dub was broadcasted, but the channel it aired on was the Basma Children’s channel that launched in 2008, a subdivision of the Al-Majd TV network. ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/بسمة_للأطفال Seems like they dub tons of foreign cartoons, including anime. The dubs they do are different in that the network is a Muslim Tv network. So to follow guidelines, they remove all music from their dubs as musical instruments are forbidden in Islam, only singing with no instruments. They may make other edits to the dialogue as well. Broadcasting/production is done in the Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Syria, and Egypt. Offices are also in Jordan , Morocco, Iraq, and Lebanon. 8 episodes of onward, Leo! have been dubbed, or least found online (4 of the original kimba series)

@@AlliKat It's from a test I did of upscaling the intro (taken from the Japanese DVDs at 480p) and series to 1080p. I also fixed the colors and sharpened the picture in an editing program. I've done a couple of episodes. I did a little research and I think the title for the 2nd Arabic version from Jordan is actually "The Jungle Lion." Google translate says one of the meanings for the word ورد is lion. It can also mean "Rose" or "Flower" but I think it's supposed to be lion. EDIT: Found this on an Arabic naming website. "Yes, “waard” in Arabic means “flowers,” but the same word can also be used to describe a lion that has black strands in its mane."

Aha. That does make more sense! Thank you! From studying arabic back in school, i can remember the many names that exists for lions. I'll ask some of my former colleagues and see what they think. The title name, " the Jungle responded " was given to me by a fandom wiki user for the lost media archive who found this dub and didn't think much of it ^^ Thank you for researching! I wonder if "Warad" is referring to Leo's black-tipped ears? "The black-tipped-eared lion of the jungle" :S Maybe just "The Jungle lion" will do for now :) Edit: asked reddit and my friend from Morocco and they both confirmed the name of the dub: "The Jungle Lion"

Anyone else here wonder what the heck happened to Tom/Dick, Tab/Bo, and Claw/Bubu after the events of the original anime series? We all know that Cassius/Silkar/Sylvester/Shaka/Toto makes an appearance in the sequel, but he makes NO mention of the other three! Did Claw meet the same end as Scar from The Lion King? Did Tom and Tab run off after devouring their former boss? I guess we'll never know for sure, will we?

Loving these I remember the Italian one from kimba l lions website he had the vinyl version which was so awesome I got to get them in mp3 form one day I hope he still has the site going or find the old email he sent me with them attached. But oh gosh I love kimba the white lion a lot.
