Sfm and gmod have the same engine. There's even a play mode which basically gives you tf2 like gameplay. Not trying to write off the guys talent just its more the same thing than you realize

The engine is the same, yes, but as someone who has experience in both, key framing static models in a program specifically designed for animation vs manipulating ragdolls in a game are wildly different and almost never yield the same results, hence why they have had historically different styles in the first place. I don’t mean to be that guy, but if you’re gonna post a disparaging comment on a compliment of all things, don’t act like you know better than the people who actually create content
