I have really come to enjoy and look forward to your reviews over the last few months. All that said: you pretty much had me at coffee. LOL! I have a decant of Intense Cafe, and I plan to purchase a full bottle as soon as possible. I felt like the original had a creaminess to it, and felt more like a mochaccino than a pure coffee . . . . Personally, I'm glad that the Ristretto Intense kept some part of those elements because I enjoyed them so well.

My Dolce Gusto brews 3 ristrettos daily, strong and dark :) I just love it, I never tried the original, but this one is Woooow, the rose is beautiful, this is my favorite coffee scent! Thanks!

I couldn't help but salivate at your background and Tom Ford collection (among others). If I may ask, what would you suggest as a first Tom Ford fragrance. Omg, that is my favorite, i prefer Ristretto Intense Cafe instead of Intense Cafe. I love both, but prefer RIC, it reminds me of a candy named "COFFEE DELIGHT". Excellent video. Note: i get 24 hours. I dont know why, but ALMOST all perfumes last long on my skin.

was trying this today n loved it as a scent but on my skin it's more rose than coffee n the coffee is subtle mixed with rose making it a rose/coffee scent n not a predominantly coffee scent. Coffee comes later on with a bit of prominence.

I have Intense cafe and i tried this one, i like it more in the opening is more masculine but overall i prefer IC is more versatility and this one on me is very loud, much more for my like.

For me the coffee note in this scent is extremely long lasting, it almost makes it unwearable for me. Another good coffee scent that I would recommend is: SM Cafe by Strangers Perfumerie.

Great review ! I bought a decant of "Ristretto", and I love the coffee scent, It's really nice. I find the rose note quite prominent, and I personally do not like rose on men. I've decided not to buy unfortunately. Do you know of a strong coffee note scent without rose ? Thanks again, another excellent review.

Are you certain you are talking about Ristretto Intense Cafe Steven? It surprised me when you mentioned the longevity. I have a 10ml decant of this and it's very potent. 2 sprays is sufficient, 3 sprays is pushing it and I risk choking myself out. It lasts incredibly long on my skin, lasting all day. I've tried the original version and prefer Ristretto over that one. P.S. I'm sure you've been asked this before, but what do you teach? Thanks for the review and I hope you're feeling better!

I teach English! Perhaps I'm subconsciously comparing the performance of this to other beast mode fragrances from the brand like Black Aoud and Red Aoud. Longevity on this one is great, but it's nothing compared to others from the brand.

I dont like the coffe note in general, i have pdm layton exclusif and i defintley get the coffe note, didnt like it that much. Great review nonetheless. Steven do u think that tf tobbaco vanille is too feminne , im planning on purchasing it but kinda held back because of the feedback that its more feminne rather than masculine. Thx in advance

Where have you been all my life? Fragrances mean soooo much to me. I love montale purple. FYI I love Thierry Mugler Angel (my signature since 1992) & Aromatics Elixir(clinique) when it rainy, snow & Carolina Herrera (original). They are my top 3 fragrances that I've worn forever. FlowerBomb(V&R) & la vie est belle(Lancome) are my newest scents. What do you recommend?

I got this awhile ago and I adore it. It's everything I wanted the original to be. It's a great release. The longevity on me is almost annoying, it lasts 24 hours+. I can even smell it after a shower 😱 Appreciate your Insight as always 🙏 Sotd kemi by kemi.

I appreciate the review. The biggest issue I have is when fragrances are packaged in metal containers. I think this changes how the scent comes across versus a glass container.

All musks.. I get the “coffee” accord, but it’s not a distinct “coffee” note, just a bunch of musks that give off that accord…not a big fan

@@Redolessence no, thank YOU! You are one of my “go-to’s” when i want opinions about certain frags.. I smelled this one and was like “hmm.. I wonder what the fragCom has to say about it?” Most have opposing takes from my own… this just didn’t “paint the picture “ clear enough for me, unlike a BLACK Phantom.. in which I can DISTINCTLY smell all the accords, as if they were the actual notes (I.e. caramel, coffee)

I wish I would have seen your video before I bought it. You see everyone saying longevity like 3 days or something and this is just really so weak. Only 6 hours maximum and it’s true. People over there: forget all the perfume influencers, all of them aren’t telling the truth in terms of longevity. I like the scent, but it’s to short and the price is to high for this performance! Don’t buy it.
