Hi ! Thank you for this interesting review. I received a lot of compliments when I wear ristretto intense cafe. I love the depth and roundness of this fragrance on my skin. I like also intense cafe especially when wearing it layered over my clothes

I just got this two days ago in a mini haul 👌 It was a love at first sniff for me , great to get your take. Ill be abusive to this stuff now that the weather is getting cooler. I like this way better than the original, because on me the intense Café seemed to be decaf on my skin. So little coffee 😂 this is all that I wanted from the original.

I got on a 10ml split of this. The opening is gorgeous. Not to mention, the opening is...NUCLEAR!!! Love at first sniff. The only thing that irks me is that musky accord in the base. I hope that Montale can find a way to get rid of it in a future flanker.

I hate the taste of coffee, but I enjoy the smell of it! I smelled the original version of this, didn't grab me though, this sounds better with the stronger coffee note

Good question. If you already love IC then probably not. I'd say it's a replacement. I'd sell IC and keep this.

If you're looking for a strong coffee note I would recommend SM Cafe by Strangers Perfumerie. It has a strong espresso note that will invade your scent bubble.

@@LolaScents - They have amazing scents: i.e. Burning Ben, Cigar Rum, Les Mauvais Garçons, and Salted Green Mango. I tried first from a set and I enjoyed them so much I had to get full bottles, which is a rarity for me.

The opening is like a creamy toffee hard candy. Its very nice but montale has to stop the coffee rose partnership fetish as i feel like coffee and rose are arguing with each other like a married couple

On my skin most Montales are long lasting and project well. I don't know about fantastically.

for me it is definitly a masculin perfume... i felt the coffe only on the paper for 10.minutes and than a musky, dirty rose... that i don't like so much... i must try Intense cafe if it is a more sweet rose... on my skin i felt the coffe on the opening and than the musky, dirty rose even that weird smell ... that comes and go away... so not a gem for me😭😭😭

If only Montale made the opening the scent itself.. The opening is brilliant, but after that I smell some rosy substance on my skin. That's why I won't purchase a bottle. Still on the lookout for a masculine quality coffee scent.

Ugh! I tried this several years ago. The idea sounded good but it smelled like I spilled over sugared coffee on myself. I love coffee but I like my coffee dark, intense and bitter. I can't stand those milkshake coffees they sell at Starbucks. They are not even fit to be called coffee in my opinion :D

The only Montale I have is Candy Rose. It’s not a true gourmand but I like it’s sweetness. I’m not a huge fan of coffee or coffee notes therefore don’t own any coffee fragrances. Glad that you found yourself a favorite coffee fragrance. Enjoy it: )

The original was a like. I said I didnt love it because of the medicinal grape scent I got. This one doesn't have it.
