Montana Lodge Log Home Tour With New Clients

Elvie takes new Customers on a tour of the Montana Lodge by Meadowlark Log Homes.
He doesn’t need to work hard however, since the owner Derek, ever the entertainer, does the talking.
Derek does a great job of showing the home he is so proud of. We think he did great because after all later in the week these folks purchased the Bull Lake model log home from Meadowlark. That’s the name of the lake in this video and the Bull Lake home sits on water’s edge not far from the Montana Lodge.

This garage is fantastic. I love the barn style doors on the 1 side. I am wondering if there is an apartment above the garage with exterior entrance? The size of this house is astonishing. I would buy one in a minute if it weren't so cold on Montana. I am a summer person, and can't stand the cold winters. Did that for 35 years, and never again. BURRR!

You all do some incredible Work. Try building a 5 sided Log Chicken Coop. Lol Built one 30 some years ago. Then a 20x20 log cabin using horses to pull the logs. All manual labor and it was fun. You do a really good job of filming & showing off the master pieces.

Love the kitchen in the main house as well as the fireplace. I should level my home and have that garage placed over my basement, just a garage with living quarters above, would want one side taller to be able to back my boat and trailer into and then have tractor with it, so building would be thirty to thirty five wide......now if I could just afford my dreams. Like the caps on the logs of the railings, never noticed them before, excellent addition

Of course this is a GORGEOUS Lodge! I can never afford that much of a home, but it's beautiful! There was something odd on the back porch though that looked out of a place. It was blue and on a flag pole with lettering on it. This didn't age well....giggle....

The home was built in 2013 for about 1.2 million. I don’t know what the lot cost then but 1 acre on the lake in NW Montana in 2021 would be about $500,000. The home would cost about 1.6 million today.

I love the exterior of the garage. Remove the garage doors, add windows. It would be perfect. I've been researching how to add more femininity to the interiors. I love the look of whitewashed interior logs. They're all beautiful though.

I am not sure if your question is what does it cost to install the heating and cooling? The answer to that would be fireplaces heat pumps and air conditioners could run 30,000 to 80,000 in this home. The cost per month to heat and cool the house I estimate would be maybe $300.
