Back when common sense was taught, and was common, when respect was given first and earned last. And when love was somehow a little more free. Less red tape, and division. Some things aren't as good as they are now no doubt, but I think we're missing something that we used to have...

@DonovanGoodwin
@DonovanGoodwin 3 жыл бұрын
When the American people can't even be proud to be American without being labeled, it's a little divided don't you think ... Not trying to get into any arguments but I said what I said. Many things are different for the better but if we can't even agree that we want to see our country succeed and by extension our neighbors succeed then I think we've lost what made us the "united" states. There have always been big ticket items where division existed in our country(from the very beginning) but our wanting something better always ended up uniting us. And somehow we can't even unite under that anymore. All I'm saying is Love, not hate, and I mean that. Not as some political slogan. Who ever someone is, I can't possibly bet what their background or life experiences are. And because of that how am I supposed to make a judgement about them. They could tell me they are affiliated with any political party but honestly when you get down to it, people are a lot less different then they've ever been. It's time to stop letting labels define who we actually are. It's time to joke, to smile, and to do what Nate does, breath in life and find new places, enjoy the culture around him.

we were up in Banack about a month ago. my friend got married in the church there. we also stopped by ringing rocks over in Whitehall. if you've never heard of it, it's a spot up on a mountain with a stack of rocks that don't really look like they belong and if you hit them with a hammer they sound like a bell. some of them are duds but there are some really good ones if you climb around the pile. really great view from the top of the pile too. you should check it out if you've never been it's only a few miles from the highway so not a real offroad adventure but a cool stop anyway.
