Your parents were true pioneers...not only in the sense of a different location but also in the search for truth and freedom in Jesus. Mr and Mrs Miller Miller are amazing and courageous people. I have watched this multiple times. Gr8 video.

Please, please do more, we need to daily hear our elderly people to talk. The young today and many parents are all about giving their children and about dreams and it isn't about survival and accomplishments so there is no sense of the Creator nor of propose.

I can relate to your dad. I grew up a Jehovah's Witness and I kept discovering things within the bible that went contrary to the church's teachings. Anytime I brought it to the elders/leaders attention they couldn't explain why they were not doing what the Bible said. I just finally couldn't continue in that church knowing they were not following the scriptures. Your dad is right, one person can't change things when people are stubborn and have their minds made up. I left the JW church in my late 20's.

Many have commented on the people your parents are . . . God fearing, humble, wise, brave, industrious, resourceful . . . and, rightly so! But, in addition, this filming takes the "oral tradition" to the next level! Without a doubt, it is one of the greatest gifts you have bestowed on all future generations of your family.

I love listening to the elders. You're the same age as my daughter and my youngest brother. I'm the oldest. Was 18 when my brother came to us, 19 when my daughter was born. My Dad died in May of 2021 from congestive heart failure, aged 82. The last birthday I got to celebrate with him was just a couple weeks before the Covid lockdowns, when we were barred from visiting him at the nursing home. He had just gone to live there a few months earlier. Wished we could have kept him home but didn't have the medical care he needed. Living in this modern society we're bound to modern, heartless insurance rules. It's not the way God intended. May God bless and keep your family.
