The father of my son-in-law was the pastor that was put in jail for having a Christian School in the 1980’s in North Platte, Nebraska. Through this horrible ordeal, we now have the right for private Christian schools. We are so thankful for the ones who have gone before us and fought for the Christian rights for our generations to come.

Oh my goodness!! I kind of stumbled across this video and it immediately brought back a memory. Priscilla, your dad was part of a reconciliation conference in Pennsylvania that was part of that Anabaptist/Reformed church reconciliation journey years ago. I was there and remember him. I loved listening to his story on this video , but it only scratched the surface of the reconciliation story. I would love to hear more about his journey with that. I think you should do a part two video. This was so good.

More, more, more!! I studied the Anabaptist stories in church history in college. Can you take your Dad to Switzerland and interview the man who listened to God and brought reconciliation? What a treasure that would be. More history from your Dad Priscilla. How did God build an Amish church revival through your Dad. I can't imagine how hard that was without family support. My parents were married the same year your parents were. What a journey of following God. I can't tell how blessed I feel listening to this story. Such a feeling of hope. God does hear our prayers for revival. When we seek God we find Him p

Francis & Edith Schaffer had a commune called LaBree Young people could stay for a short time visit ask questions & study, eat, hike with each other. Many came from America they stayed In a hostel with the Shaffers hostel living Frances Schaffer and C.Everett Coop later wrote a book called “Whatever happened to the human race” Our youth need places they can learn with there peers about the Lord. Our Swiss need to hear & learn from communities that walk with our Lord. Thank you for your thoughtful interview 🙏 Praise God

Enjoyed your fathers story!! We live in Ohio and love visiting our Amish community in Holmes County. I have always loved driving by the beautiful farms. We have a wonderful pastor/friend that came to Jesus out of Old Order. He has quite a testimony of being delivered from drugs. He pastors a church in Apple Creek.. We have a burden for these beautiful people to be free from the religious spirit. So happy you all found your freedom in Jesus Christ Blessings!

How precious your parents are, Priscilla! I think you take after both of them, by the way. What a blessing to have such a faithful, caregiving, courageous legacy. I appreciate what your father said about hope being more than a sense of wishing. How true your father's words are about how the religious system can divide families. Beautiful wisdom in the letting loose he mentioned, as well. I feel like I've been to church this evening and I loved sitting under this small bit of your father's teaching. I love that he honored your sweet mother and thanked you all. Thank you very much for this wonderful testimony/interview. May the LORD bless your dear parents and all of you.

This video brought me to tears towards the end! My grandpa was an old order Mennonite bishop and got 'crucified' as well.. but he had only forgiveness for those who hurt him. He said he didn't want any of them going to hell because of the way he was treated! He stopped( w/ God's help) what could have been bitterness for the next generation! So thankful for history and God's faithfulness!
